I didn't want to workout today. I've been in a funk the past couple of days, and just want to sit and eat ice cream. But I got started. And if you get started, you can do this too. All you have to do is START 💪 Thanks @crossfitunashamed for the great workout!
Let's talk for a minute about how stressful grocery shopping can be: You have to decide what is healthy and what isn't. What works for your taste buds and what's good for your long term health. You have to decide if seasonality of foods is important to you and then if it is, what's in season. You have to think of convenience and your schedule. Do you pack your lunch everyday? Do you need easy dinners because you work late? Here are some basic tips: Plan your meals ahead of time, and make your grocery list. Stay on the OUTSIDE of the store!! I cannot stress that enough. This ensures that you get fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, and bread. Finally, don't stress too much - after all, you know what's good for you 😄
I DID NOT want to workout today. But I did it. I don't have any feelings of "I feel so good, because I worked out!" I only feel like my butt got kicked. Sometimes the only reason you do something is because you know it will make you stronger. And that's reason enough ✔
Yummy treats! A co-worker went to Hawaii and came back with macadamia nuts 🌺 A small handful of nuts can go a long way to help curb hunger. The key is to keep the quantity light and try to go for those not covered in chocolate 😉
