My hubby let me sleep in this morning, so I didn't get my morning workout in. So since my little man was still sleeping after picking up my daughter from her dad, I decided to get my workout in. Yep, the hubby was sleeping on the couch, and my daughter was watching tv, but I still got it done! Af alle dagens billeder og videoer fra træning, valgte jeg dog at poste dette billede af @metteaaby og jeg på vej til Copenhagen Weightlifting Cup for at se bl.a. @amandamanfeld løfte. Mette er et nyt bekendtskab, som jeg lært at kende i fitness dk og herinde, da vi træner meget det samme (crossfit og styrketræning) de samme steder og i øvrigt har meget andet til fælles og en god kemi fra starten 😃 Vi trænede i formiddags og jeg havde en nærdødsoplevelse af en voldsom WOD 😅Mette er lige en tand stærkere og mere udholden end mig, og det er ret fedt, at have en at prøve og følge med. Det bedste ved at bo (og træne) i Kbh er alle de skønne og seje mennesker man møder, og har så meget til fælles med, fordi man lever lidt samme livsstil. Gearing up for (what turned out to be) an epic session @k2gym. Got a lot going down in my life right now and I can't tell you how much it helps to be able to take time out for myself and for doing something that supports my health.
I've seen the #10factsaboutme floating around here so I thought why not join in since my account is so new 🤓 (I tag everyone here) 1) I'm originally from Finland 🇫🇮 #finnishgirl 2) I speak 🇫🇮🇩🇪🇳🇱🇬🇧, + doing an online course in 🇳🇴 3) I'm studying management with German (😂) at UofNottingham 4) I've ridden horses since I was 3 yrs. old, my horse is back in Finland 😢 5) i think I'm lactose and gluten intolerant, my stomach gets so bloated from them 6) i started lifting weights thanks to my sister (@ilonadeadlifts), she kicks my 🍑 at the gym every now and then when we see each other 7) right now the gym is the main source of motivation for me at Uni, it clears my mind and gives me something to put my thoughts into :) 8) I've introduced a few of my girlies to lifting 💪 9) My favourite food is sushi 10) #timetogetreal I have #hypothyroidism and I've been on a supplement since toddler age, but it still does affect me especially with my digestion (extremely slow..) and energy levels (I get tired really quickly). I have noticed these affect me getting fitter as it is a much slower process for me but I'm hoping to learn a lot from this journey and see what works for my body the best :) If there's anyone who's been through the same, any tips will be super valued ❤️💪
Sick as fudge the last few days 😷 w/ much too much going on. Haven't lifted in a few days either 😓 #butthatshallchangesoon otherwise, put makeup on and did the jobs today, got back home and into PJs it was. Womp Womp, but there's at least one light at the end of one of the tunnels! #throwbacktobeforeigotsick
