Hey its Alex! Just thought I'd start making it a habit to post when i have a random thought! And so im not too boring! So I don't have horrible eating habits but i definitely don't have great ones either. I drink green tea and water regularly but id also have a croissant. So not horrible but not great lol. I quite enjoy my bready foods and pastas but i also love salads and vegetables! When i mentioned to someone that i was going on this journey with my best friend a lot of people say to me "you're too skinny to go on a diet" or "why? You can probably eat whatever you want!" And that's not the point!!! Im not going on this "diet" to get skinny! In fact no one commits to something like this to get "skinny"! Im doing this so i can feel better about myself, to gain confidence, and to feel that i can wear whatever i want and not feel like I have a "muffin top" or too big of hips and to not put myself down when I have a single piece of pizza or whatever! Im doing this to change my state of mind view point on life and to become more positive! So im sure others who go on a journey like this feel the same!! Just thought I'd share that with everyone!
SO. I was craving a turkey burger with lettuce now that I can actually have raw fruits/veggies(yaaaay! 🎉). I typically get the Jenny-O turkey burgers or ground turkey to make my own, but I saw that the Shady Brook Farms turkey patties were on sale. A big NOPE. NO. My dreams and cravings for a burger were shattered. I can stand lean meat, but this consistency was different...kinda rubbery in a way. I made myself eat a few bites but had to feed the rest to the trash can. Wahh!! 💔
It's been almost 7 weeks and I thank myself NOW!!! No more CPap, no more of my large breast trying to kill me in my sleep at night, no more snoring and no more of me being unable to shave this fuzzy legs of mine. I can't wait til I hit my 3 month mark and see what I accomplish by then.
Gaaaaaah!! This is just 21 day of doing my best, not being perfect, falling off the meal plan on week 2 and be brave and not allowing excuses to determine what was possible. Truth be told, this was the very first program I used (back on July 13, 2016 - yes I remember the day ROTFL 🤣👍❤) to stop feeling unworthy, sluggish, depressed, fat and stop have daily migraines. Then, I weighed in at my heaviest of 216 pounds with a 45" waist!! I felt embarrassed and so ready for a change. To feel a love again without constant knee and lower back pain. To not feel out of breath when going up one flight of stairs. Embarrassing. When I joined this group I weighed in 191.7 pounds. Today I weigh in at 188.5 pounds!! 3.2 pounds gone in just 21 days???!!! NO. Freaking. WAY!!! 🙌💪😗🤠😎💖😙 🎢 There is no limit to what you CAN do. 🎃 BELIEVE in yourself. 💪 TRUST the process. 🤓 Have PATIENCE (this ones hard but don't give up before the magic happens). 👟 When you stumble, LEARN from it. 😘 Be KIND to yourself and LOVE your body and mind. 📈 Create a habit and healthy compound effect by doing this every single day. 👌🆗 And when you trip up know that's NORMAL and OKAY! It happens to everyone and everyone does it. But you get back up and start again because you want to see a change and feel ecstatic about what you did for yourself! ❤ You are worth it!! #beachbody#runner#trailrunning#roadrunning#fitgirl#pnw#healthy#inspire#eatclean#cleaneating#workingout#fitness#bodybuilding#fall#bekind#laughregularly#catmom#cardio#coffee#foodisfuel#nutrition#motivate#weightlosstransformation#shakeology#loveyourself
Rise and Grind Fitfam. It’s going to be a great week. Time to push outside of our comfort zones and take risks. You’ll never know what could happen if you never try new things. Don’t pass on an opportunity, take the shot 💪🙌👏 You got this!
Had the most hectic last few weeks of my life. Running from a hurricane doing a lot if traveling and then going up north for a wedding. I stopped focusing the entire time but it feels good to be back. Here we go again!
Made @ambitiouskitchen pumpkin chocolate chip oat bars and these babies did NOT disappoint! No butter is used and they are gluten free. I made a tweak and would do 1 thing different next time. I subbed coconut sugar for dark brown sugar and dropped it down to 1/3 cup. I made my bars bigger so instead of 16 thinner servings at ~100 calories each I double layered my pan and made 8 bigger bars around ~200 calories each. Next time I want to try adding 1/2 cup more of pumpkin, but overall these are a 8.5/10. WILL MAKE AGAIN 😋!!!
Babies don't destroy your body! ❤️ 🔜 my babygirl Tammy turns 1 year old. Woah... really??? My #postpartumjourney is kind of over! 1 year ago I couldn't see my toes and weight about 25 kg more than now😅😅 I am so glad I decided to take care of my body. Two pregnancies and I finally feel good about my body 😍
A bit of a lift assessment today, seeing what i can lift and press working up in sets to 250kg on the leg press... not bad as i haven't done it for a while! Back down to my prefuck up weight now so thats all good! Now to just keep going with the weight loss ant training! #legpress#legs#press#backonform#backatit#letsdothis#legworkout
Good and Happy Monday to you all! A nice reminder that exact results and outcomes aren't always things we can control. I know many of our clients are anxious to see results NOW. But instead we ask them to focus on the process. Be consistent and show up everyday. Be accountable for your food intake. Foods can help fuel you and also be used as for celebration. It's ok to indulge as long as you account or plan for it. If you can make it fit no problem. Labeling food as good or bad, healthy or junk is not helpful. Focus on what YOU CAN CONTROL. Everything above you can control. We cannot determine exact outcomes so don't stress or focus on that. This is one of our biggest "losers" on Mighty Transformation who lost over 30lbs in 12 weeks. While his results are extraordinary he didn't do anything extraordinary. He said it best "I focused on the process and didn't even worry about the results. It eventually happened with consistency". What can you do TODAY to help you for tomorrow? Simply be better than yesterday. Happy Monday FitFam! #MightyTransformation#mondaymotivation#motivationmonday
