So I tried the new "Sous Vide" eggs today at Starbucks. They have a little more carbs than I usually like for one meal, but are a great option for on the go. I got it with a green tea with Splenda. They were FANTASTIC. . Nutrition (for two pieces): Calories-170, Fat-7g, Carbs-12g, Protein-13g.
Egg salad on a bed of spinach with almonds and green onions for lunch. 😋 I do love eggs anyway, but I also just bought a case of 60 from Costco so every time I open my fridge to eat something, they're there staring at me 👀 so eggs it is again.
After crushing a great workout Coach Kate and I love to sweat it out for a few minutes in the sauna. This provides us a time to talk about our pride and joy, The No Limit Fitness Program. We are constantly brainstorming better ideas on how to help others and how we can motivate not only each other, but other people as well. Coach Kate and I work as a team. Joining our No Limit Fitness Program is unique and diverse in its own way - we don't ever stop working and we strive to be better. Tell us someone who doesn't give up on you? We don't and we won't! #NoLimitFitnessProgram
Read Lynsey's full testimonial here! "Training with Adam has been a life changing experience! I have always been an athletic person but Adam has opened my mind to new ways of training. My love for sports was undeniable. But all that had to end after I had my C-section with my first son in February 2016… I thought I would never have my body back, especially with the never-ending pain I felt. A couple months after I gave birth I decided I needed a change, not only for myself but to show my son how to be healthy. I was heavier than I had ever been and was not used to it. So I reached out for help. Meeting with Adam was a huge relief because he was straight forward with everything and didn't try to sell me on a time frame of when I’d lose a certain amount of weight, I went at my own pace and he followed by my side. He also gave me workouts and a meal plan that fit to my lifestyle. Today, I look amazing and I LOVE that I can say that. I’ve never had this much confidence. I never could look in the mirror and feel pretty. But I do now! If anyone is looking for a personal trainer, Adam is the one to go to!" #fit2functionstl#strengthtokeepgoing#healthylifestyle#healthandfitness#healthyeating#weightloss#weightlosstransformation#fitnessgoals#goals#onlinept#onlinepersonaltrainer#onlinepersonaltraining#fitness#fitnessmotivation#fitfam#fitspo#strength#strengthtraining#fitnessjourney
Sunday Costco run! Super hard to keep it all #keto and not give in to the free hand outs 🙈 I've lost almost 5 lbs this week and am feeling pretty good. Hoping to keep it up! Stir fry with Kobe steak tonight 🥙
Time to Fresh up! Starting a 3 Day Cleanse tomorrow of fruits, veggies and healthy fats! Step One: Grocery shopping DONE ✅ Step Two: Before pics, measurements, and weight DONE ✅ For the last several months I've been drinking my shakes, but my nutrition has not been the best. After missing weeks of workouts and living with some stress..... I am bloated, clothes feel tighter and the scales show I'm up a few pounds! 😬 I love doing this cleanse and it gets me back on track! Still evaluating my goals for fitness during this pregnancy but I do know that my goal for health through food remains. My first pregnancy, I gained 100lbs in 7 months [ my daughter was premature ] and my first goal above all else is to eat without emotions and to focus on healthy, colorful, body benefiting foods. Keto is out for now. And so is low carb. My body is happier on a cellular level when lots of veggies are consumed so I might eat a 'Keto type' meal every once in awhile but I am not going to be looking at net carbs anymore. So sticking with Paleo basically. Keeping my sugar intake low is another goal so no more chocolate for now. I'm gonna moderate my fruit sugar intake but almost completely cut out all other sugar. during my last pregnancy with my now 8 year old daughter, every doctor I would see would look at me and call gestational diabetes and I don't know if they were just being judgmental because of my size or if I was truly on the verge but every test I took was no where near close to any sort of elevated sugars in my blood. I was also 17 and my body was younger and just becoming unhealthy so I think that was a factor for not getting diabetes. Not to mention my husband now has diabetes and didn't before our first pregnancy. I just don't want to risk it so sugar is the one thing I am going to be keeping a close eye on. Im going to be adding nightly walks to my routine again for pelvic strength and 200 squats a day as well. Not really focusing on my outward appearance, like the shape of my butt, but things that will benefit my baby and will build a body made for birth. Pretty crazy comparison. 435lbs not pregnant to 262lbs 1 month pregnant. Life is weird. #fuckingbelieveinyourself
My heel has been bothering me again 😩 so today I spent some time on the bike today. 35 minutes was all I could handle. I will be icing, doing my stretches, and taking some aleve tonight to see if that helps. #plantarfasciitis
Gumbo. It's cool outside. Funny Louisiana weather. I've been cramping all weekend. Will be getting with my doctor to have another ultrasound done to see about my fibroids and cyst on my ovaries now that I've gotten my weight down #wlstories
A trip to Davidoff Cigar Bar was well worth it! A cheeky fat cigar whilst people watching on the strip! Relaxing and chilled!! I know the cigar is hardly great for my cardiovascular, but what happens in Vegas....... 🙌🏼💪🏼👌🏼
I'm sick. I'm frustrated with this cast. I am not helpless. I've been struggling with opening jars and bottles.....not anymore. I discovered that if I do an air bench and squat up against a wall, that I can use my quads to hold the jar/bottle and I can open it with my left hand. #notgivingup#noexcuses#fractured#purple#cast
stats from Orangetheory this morning 😅 my heart rate monitor always shuts off when im on the rower so I definitely burned more calories but regardless, I earned my dinner tonight 🙆🏻 almost done meal prepping for the week - got a big batch of chili coming up 😋😋 now, time for football 🖤💛🖤💛
Tonight I started my weight training which I haven't done since my second month of pregnancy. Very thankful for my accountability partner (my hubby) who gave me positive feedback when I felt discouraged or gave me the drive I needed when I felt like giving up. You have to remember to always honor where your body is at and getting back into my fitness groove and starting the work to get this weight off of me has taught me to be present and to listen to my body. When I started working out again my mind and body were completely detached. My mind thought I could do all my normal things when I'm fact my body has a lot of strength to gain back and not to mention more healing to do from birth. By not giving up on getting back into it though has taught my mind to listen and honor my body. #4weekspostpartum#postpartumfitness#shedthebabyweight#fitmoms#fitnessjourney#fitgirls#girlswholift#weightlosstransformation#weighttraining#accountability#healthyliving#loveyourself#youtime
