It's affirmation Monday!!SAVE & SHARE WITH YOUR BESTIES👯👯 A lot of times I hear women putting themselves on the back burner because they don't have the support they feel they need. My number 1 question is: Have you given yourself that support? The way I always can tell if my child is truly interested in something is if they do it alone. Without me or Daddy they'll make time to focus on this thing that matters to them. I have a daughter that loves being creative & drawing and making things. She waits for no one to figure out how to make an elephant out o paper and a tissue roll. She just does it! And if she needs help at some point,we help her!! But she doesn't rely on us to push her to draw,tear up papers and make cool things,she just does it because she loves it!! YOU HAVE TO GET SO PASSIONATE ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT & THE LOVE YOU HAVE FOR YOUR DREAMS.. that you just do it!!! The help will come when you need it!! I need to do some meal prepping, so I ran over to Publix for some snacks and this yummy spinach Dijon salad. Spinach, hard-boiled egg, cheese, dried cranberries, almond slivers, and crispy noodles for some crunch 😁 Lunch is good today! #wwlunch

Made @ambitiouskitchen pumpkin chocolate chip oat bars and these babies did NOT disappoint! No butter is used and they are gluten free. I made a tweak and would do 1 thing different next time. I subbed coconut sugar for dark brown sugar and dropped it down to 1/3 cup. I made my bars bigger so instead of 16 thinner servings at ~100 calories each I double layered my pan and made 8 bigger bars around ~200 calories each. Next time I want to try adding 1/2 cup more of pumpkin, but overall these are a 8.5/10. WILL MAKE AGAIN 😋!!!
After being on heart meds for more than 15 years I had been taken off all but one. This was the last drug they had tried to regulate my heart function , to keep in a normal rhythm. Today I was told I no longer needed it! My Cardiologist of 15 years showed me in the chart where he had notations saying even though this drug was very strong and not designed to be administered for long term use it was the only one that was working and I would be on it for pretty much the rest of my life. He laughed today and said “ well if anyone was going to prove me wrong it was going to be you, from day one you have not been my typical case” He ended the visit by saying my recovery so far was nothing short of a miracle and he was extremely happy for me and my family. Keep focused on those goals, things happen when they are supposed to ! Good and Happy Monday to you all! A nice reminder that exact results and outcomes aren't always things we can control. I know many of our clients are anxious to see results NOW. But instead we ask them to focus on the process. Be consistent and show up everyday. Be accountable for your food intake. Foods can help fuel you and also be used as for celebration. It's ok to indulge as long as you account or plan for it. If you can make it fit no problem. Labeling food as good or bad, healthy or junk is not helpful. Focus on what YOU CAN CONTROL. Everything above you can control. We cannot determine exact outcomes so don't stress or focus on that. This is one of our biggest "losers" on Mighty Transformation who lost over 30lbs in 12 weeks. While his results are extraordinary he didn't do anything extraordinary. He said it best "I focused on the process and didn't even worry about the results. It eventually happened with consistency".
