Staying positive and as on track as I can be- despite my back injury. 💪🏻 _ Some thoughts: 1- Focus on what you CAN do rather then what you can't. No athlete likes to be limited- but if you train hard enough, long enough - stuff happens. Even if you are cautious and preventative and do everything right- injuries can still occur. The glass is half empty or half full based upon how you see it. Instead of whining about what you can't do, throw yourself into training what you CAN. Turn your attention to, and divert your efforts towards the things that you can control and let go of the things you can't. _ 2- Don't slash calories too low. I see athletes do this ALL the time- they think that because their activity level is restricted or limited they need to live off of carrot sticks and lettuce. The healing process is a very calorically expensive process for the body. In order to fight inflammation and shuttle nutrients to healing tissues or areas the body needs fuel. You can reduce your calories but don't go too crazy. The faster you recover the faster you can get back to training so be sensible. _ 3-Stay positive. This may sound trivial, but a positive, relaxed bodily environment eases stress and tension and allows the body to heal quicker. Again- it's all within your mind. Try to keep stress low, prioritize sleep and hydration, and do everything within your power to create a psychological and physiological environment conducive to healing. _ 4- PRAY. Self explanatory really- get with God and ask Him to help you trust His plan, trust your path and remain positive throughout the journey. _ Alli-Fitness.com #allifitness _ #swole#veins#bodybuilding#instafit#selfie#igfitness#fitgirls#motivation#inspiration#natty#figurepro#figurecompetitor#girlswithmuscle#girlswholift#weightliftinggirls#garagegym#fitnessfreak#tuesday#aesthetics#physique#muscle#strongnotskinny#bestself#strivefoegreatness#personaltrainer#discipline#naturalbodybuilding#strongwomen#abs
Sunflower sprouts, yellow pea milk by Ripple, and chocolate vegan #Shakeology !! Maybe only partially inspired by @straight_juicin 😄. Drinking chocolate covered grass never tasted so satisfying. #Sprouts themselves are great for when you need additional #protein , a healthy gut and immune system, lots of folate, high amounts of #Vitamins E, A, B complex, and D as well as the essential #minerals . Go buy them when you can, and add them to your daily shake!!
I know it's not a huge change like some people but to me it was! The left picture was August of 2015 and I was proud of myself and excited because I had actually just lost some weight. The right is from this time last year, 4 months after I discovered a love for weightlifting. I know the "after" is a year old but I wanted to show how much progress can be made in a short period through diet and exercise. (Sorry about the sticker on my face, I was making an awful one!) #transformationtuesday#transformation#beforeandafter#weightliftinggirls#girlswholift #💪 #fitness

I've been a busy bee 🐝 but I manage to get my workout in and I'm back to my weights🤗 oh how I've miss them. Starting next month I'll be going ham with my weights, but for now I'm still doing my Hybrid workouts.
