Just started one of those and gotta say, I'm into it😍 A quote that stopped me in today's work out "If you want results, you're going to have to challenge yourself; you're going to have to get uncomfortable." That is simple but PROFOUND, I mean it! Work outs that actually WORK are uncomfortable, very uncomfortable to be honest. But ya know what else is uncomfortable? Jeans that are too tight, insecurity, wishing you had someone else's body, bathing suit shopping, I could go on and on and on...😒 Choose to be uncomfortable for 30 minutes, not ya life, 💁🏻k? These guys made the shift into this 3 week rapid results program and got their sweat on the first week!!! Mikey took his day off and went for a run. Elena runs too!!! I made the nutrition shift Monday and found out there are foods I thought I don't like but I do and there are foods I thought I like and don't!!! The best part is I have a list to choose from so a little switching is possible. This shift in nutrition has been a good one so far. Since Monday I am down 2.8 pounds!!! Of course I knew I was going to be strict for three weeks so my meals over the weekend were not so good 😂. Let's see how good this goes 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Do you believe you have it in you to be your best? "D3" was brutal. Happy I went with 85 lbs (instead of initial thought of 95). Gotta love it when running is "recovery" lol 🏋🏼♀️Barbell cycling is starting to feel more normal. I've said it before & I'll say it again: I have a solid foundation of proficiency & experience in a myriad of exercises/movements. This is a very favorable asset when getting into #crossfit rather than coming in without much experience. I am able to trust my abilities & work at higher intensities knowing that my body can handle it 😈Today's #wod was totally mental, really! Love having to strategize - when to put the bar down, how many reps to string together, etc. It's fun! To add to it, the electrician was in my gym this morning doing some rewiring, so the music was off for most of this workout! In addition, he was walking back and forth while I was lifting...and I had to just shut that out and keep going 💪🏽Loving @comptrainmasters programming! Been at it for four weeks now! I'm in awe of what these athletes are doing! So many #comptrainmasters peeps are going to the games, which is awesome 😊Wrapped it up with 10 min of pedaling & reading on the airdyne, then met with a new referral to talk about getting started! It's like a bajillion degrees outside but these pups wouldn't leave me alone till we took a walk. I think they know what my athletic wear looks like and is for because they never get this excited when I'm changing excited or run to the door when I just put on PJs after work.
