Had a relaxing weekend that included witnessing one of my dearest friends since 3rd grade say yes to her wedding dress yesterday, getting some major nesting/cleaning done and my workouts in. Taking a break from IG a few days is always nice 🤗 filter harder than me today because your girl was lookin' a little rough after that gym sesh 😂💪 and I officially have an outie, soooo weird!!!!! BUT! In regards to my last post: I truly appreciate all the sweet comments/words of encouragement! Yal are great! I don't normally let other's comments get to me and I let a lot roll of my shoulder. People are entitled to their opinions and it's up to me whether or not I let those said opinions affect me. Pregnancy is an individualized journey for every woman, and all I can say is for some of the comments I've received from others I hope they come back and tell me how their journey really was vs. what they thought it'd be beforehand. 😉 Anywho!! Last week at work this week! 37 wk check on Tuesday, hoping to be dilated some and get this sweet girl here pretty soon! 😍 Relaxing time now!
A good friend of mine sent this to me the other day and it is so fitting with what she and I had been going through. I've started over a lot in my life, in many ways. Sometimes we dig ourselves into these holes where we think we're back to square one when in reality we are so far from it. When you're going through something and you feel like you're waist deep in it, it's so hard to see beyond our current circumstances. We dwell on it. We overanalyze it. We get stuck thinking about how the future will lay out. Today in church, the pastor spoke of dwelling on the future and the burdens it bears on us. So if you find yourself in a place of new beginnings know that you're not starting over. You are stronger now than you were in the past. You have more life experience now than before. You can overcome whatever may currently be standing in your way. 💕

Sometimes I fit in protein bars, donuts, but on most days (especially when I'm cutting), I like to eat simple but nutritious food 🤤👌🏽🥒. #keepitsimple - Simple and delicious: rice, asparagus, chicken, olive oil. - Not all of your food has to look pretty and "perfect" (for Instagram). Sure, sometimes I eat things with the thought, "this will be so good for Instagram" But on MOST DAYS, I eat like an athletic peasant. Is this meal doused in sauces? Nah. Is this meal full of nutrients and great for performance? Yes. Eat for fuel and eat for your goals. #dontjusteatforInstagram
Starting a 30 day booty program tomorrow. Because I wanna be #honeymoon ready😉💕 • I took other "before" pictures but felt way more comfortable posting this one. This isn't about changing it or trying to achieve a certain look. • Honestly, the program looks like fun + I am obsessed with working my lower half. "Do your best & forget the rest." A quote that resignates from me ever since I was a little girl... Yesterday it felt like Summer. Today it's windy, and cold. Things get tough and life gets hard. You can be unhappy about it OR you can decide to create your own sunshine! ☀️ This does not mean move to Florida on a whim because you're unhappy with yourself. The sunny state may be a beautiful state but it will not cure your unhappiness from within ( Take my word for it - I already attempted it🙈😂) Make choices that are best for you & realize that not everyone is going to agree with you. The real loss is not facing your fear , taking a risk & working for what you want. I was writing in my journal this morning about all the things that are holding me back, I crossed them off, told myself they are silly & replaced them with TRUE statements. 😌 Be happy with what you have while working for what you want. I am deserving. I will always be enough. I believe in myself. It's time to take action & never look back. Whatever it may be... #GOFORIT

Tried @creamistry for the first time with the fam and omg 🙌🏼 they make your ice cream fresh right in front of you with nitrogen. I got Reese's flavor ice cream with brownie and Oreo mixed in. The hubby and babe loved it too. Treat yourself and go try it! 🍦

I get to sleep in with my man, go to brunch, gym at my own leisure, and relax ☺️✨ Today was #gfg arms & chest 2, and I did 30 minutes of cycling as well! I was planning on a little bit more, but my pain meds started acting up and giving me some extreme stomach pains so I decided to call it quits 😞 Listening to your body is ALWAYS the best idea however, so home it was! Before this trip I was stressed about missing school and work and worrying about my grades not being perfect and I'm so happy I decided to just say screw it because you never know when or how often you'll have opportunities like this. Always choose experiences, adventures, and making memories. Don't let work, school, or even fitness get in the way of you living a full life. And if it comes down to money, choose experiences not things. Yesterday is going down in the books as one of my favorite days ever. Currently listening to "How Far I'll Go" by Alessia Cara. Finally getting a second to sit down after #fitwithBAE just happened! Drinking one of these bad boys, although much smaller than this 32 ounce one. This guy was inhaled yesterday after my 9 miles 😂. Still feeling all fuzzy after that workout. Yes, we all were there to sweat, but I met some new friendly faces which is why I started this account. To meet others who have found a passion for fitness and down to making new friends, too. Oh and walked away with brand new @sweatybetty leggings 💁🏼. Can't wait for the next #fitwithBAE !
Swinging into the work week like 🙈 The coolest thing about parkour is the mental battle. It's not one that I get from powerlifting. Every time I step into the gym, I have to face a move that scares me, yet find a way to overcome it. ❤️Lacheing freaks me out every time because I'm still learning how to control it, much less how to land precisely. I'm glad I figured out how to land on a box, even if it isn't that far away (yet). Next step: land on a wall! 😈
