So, I did some tuggin today. First week back after deloading from #motorcitysstrongestman . I was originally planning on coming in and just doing 5s at much lighter weight, considering I haven't pulled from the floor consistently since last fall, maybe before that. Things felt great so @coach_p_strength encouraged me just to ride the wave so I did. First is 635, that may or may not have been enough of a ramp to get red lighted but it moved fast regardless. I was going to go for a conservative PR like 655-660 bit everyone was egging me on so I jumped to 675. Came off the floor fast, as they all do but I stalled at the knees. Just finished up the @jailhousestrong seminar. Was awesome great information. Josh Bryant knows his shit and who he trains speaks for itself. Thankful for @destinationdallastexas to bring such key fitness people to the gym to have these. Even more thankful to say I work and call @destinationdallastexas home! 💪
Here's a fun variation for Skull Crushers. Using a band allows you to challenge different areas in the range of motion and hammer the triceps in a different way from traditional Skull Crushers. Move the band lower or higher depending upon where you'd like to focus the tension. Just make sure your anchor is a solid structure like a rack or a large human.
