I ate out of depression which fueled my depression. I used my size as an excuse and a weapon. It made people think I was strong. Size isn't strength. This #transformationtuesday is aimed at those who need a mental shift to help them start or reinforce their fitness journeys. You don't need to keep your size for protection. Size isn't strength. What good is size if you're too exhausted to hold your arms up in a fight let alone throw a punch? It's ok now. Its time to let your size go, and gain true strength. #staymotivated

I've been getting a bit frustrated lately and here's why. When I first decided I was going to lose weight ( a little over a year ago ) I dropped the pounds like crazy. I was running 1-2 miles a day twice a day every day and restricting my calories. I dropped 80 pounds bringing me to 200 pounds all together. But then I let work and my busy life get in the way of my health and fitness and I gained 25 pounds back. Whoops. I've realized that the way I was losing weight was not very healthy and I've made huge changes in my daily fitness/health life, I've started to lift weights and I've changed my eating habits. Not so I'm restricting what I eat but so I'm eating better foods! I'm frustrated because I've gained four pounds from the time I started all of this. I'm frustrated because I haven't seen any changes in my body since I started all of this. But you know what? Rome wasn't built in a day. And I'm still learning how to properly manage my diet and exercise. It'll be okay. I'll get there. It's just going to take time is all. And you'll get there too! Don't give up on yourself. We got this. 💪🏻
