So after reading some of the #8weekbloodsugardiet last night I've come to the realisation that I'm eating far too many refined carbs. So until I start the diet I'm cutting back on the amount of carbs I'm eating. Starting with this #delicious and #healthy tuna mayo and feta salad. All for 5 #smartpoints and it was so tasty! I ran out of English muffins... and strawberries... so I had to make some adjustments to last week's go-to breakfast! The weekly goals from last week were really helpful (I saw the lowest number I've seen this year on my scale this morning!) so I've decided to instate the same goals this week. Not gonna lie, that run was tough!  I wanted to pack it in after the 1st kilometre, as I was so tired & my legs were aching. So pleased that I persevered though, I've only done this longer route on a few occasions & this is the fastest I've done it in! Just shows that when you feel like giving up, sometimes all you need to do is push yourself! Welp, it's Monday again 🙃☕️ I WANT TO SHARE A FEW THINGS WITH YOU ALL — 1.  During the 3 day refresh I eliminated dairy & meat for the 3 days. I felt great. While I don't want to completely eliminate meat or dairy (I do love cheese!) I'm going to do it when I can. I have several meat subs I love (tempeh being my fave) & I don't drink milk much anyway but I do love cheese 🧀 and I've got to have it. Ha! 2.  I'm trying to steer clear of 'sugar free' / artificial things as much as possible & not be afraid of cane sugar like I have been in the past. 3.  I want to incorporate more healthy fats and quit focusing on "fat free" things. I have always been afraid of fat and I've realized that healthy fats are very beneficial to your health in moderation. 4.  I'm really trying to shift my mindset to my physical and mental health together rather than just "weight loss" and jumping on & off of the scale. Will I weigh in? Absolutely. I think lots of progress can be tracked by the scale BUT I also think there is progress in being able to just live out life in a healthy way with healthy habits and not constantly worry about weigh day. There are some days where I weigh when it's not weigh day. Some weeks I weigh 2-4 times in a week. This habit is what really bombed my journey right after my pregnancy and I don't want to get back to that mentality. I'm still trying to decide, but I'm CONSIDERING weighing in biweekly rather than weekly. I'm really looking to incorporate WW #beyondthescale mentality. 5.  Yes—I'm still using Weight Watchers smartpoints. 💕#wwtillidie

My goal for the weekend was to just stay on track, and BOOM! It's amazing how great Monday feels when you don't treat your body badly all weekend! I hit 12k steps both days and stayed in my healthy eating zones (even with a few decadent treats and a date night last night!) I raised my step and water goals a bit this week, so wish me luck! #weightwatchers #wwcommunity #wwsisterhood #smartpoints #fitpoints #donthatemotivate #hadley
