The WHO reports that iron deficiency is the most prevalent nutritional deficiency worldwide affecting 25% of individuals globally which is over 1.6 billion people. Interestingly, in India...over 55% of the female population and 75% of children are dangerously iron deficient to the point of disability. It's having a massive impact on productivity levels, 20% of maternal deaths were caused by it and IQ's are underdeveloped as a very sad byproduct.  India is largely a vegetarian continent which is thought to contribute to this problem however poverty and access to high quality food is also a huge issue.  Even though a vegetarian diet contains as much dietary iron as a non-vegetarian diet, an abundance of research has shown that animal-based iron (Heme Iron) is better absorbed (15-40%) than plant-based iron (Non-Heme Iron) (1-15%). In a recent study published, of the participants included- ALL Vegetarian/ Vegan individuals were anemic. 60% were mildly anemic and 40% were moderately anemic.  Which brings us to our point- we are receiving quite a number of emails from new and existing Vegan and Vegetarian customers stating that their iron levels are very low and they are under doctors orders to start including red meat again much to their dissapointment. This is something I've been trying to work on and I honestly believe nothing speaks the truth more than this quote ❤️Sometimes when I walk out the house in an outfit I'm self-conscious as I'm worried that I look stupid or it doesn't match but then I say to myself that I must wear the clothes and the clothes mustn't wear me 👗It doesn't matter what you wear because as long as you are confident about it, nobody will look twice ❤️ (except maybe to admire how beautiful you are 😉)

I'm all about the #tupplife  as during the week I tend to have my breakfast with me at work after a morning workout, so it always needs to be something that packs well into a jar 👉 enter chia pudding!⠀ ⠀ 💕 2-3 tablespoons chia seeds mixed with 1/2 cup almond milk and 2 tablespoons thick yogurt (either coconut or full fat!) and a dash of cinnamon 👅 Topped with ALL the toppings - almond butter, bloobs, strawbs, raspberries, pistachios, 100% dark choc chips, pistachios and my own lushbomb⠀ ⠀ What are you guys having for breakfast today? Living the tupp lyfe or enjoying something at home? I wanna know 🙋

As long as you are getting high quality sources of protein then you will be giving your body it's full compliment of the 8-9 essential amino acids from protein which the body needs from outside sources as if cannot make synthesize them on its own. This is the whole point of eating protein. Eggs for example have the highest biological value (BV) after breast milk. Choose high quality dense proteins and your body will thank you! BBQ Chicken & Green Chili Loaded Baked Potatoes for dinner tonight?! 🤔🤔🤔 . I think yes!!! 🍗💚🌶😍 . They are deliciously simple, seriously saucy and so incredibly flavorful - a firm fave in our house that's for sure, especially that quick  creama!!!! 😋❤️👌🏻 . Serve them with a simple salad and you have yourself one amazing meal! . . And BTW - you could totally use store bought rotisserie chicken here if you don't have time or feel like cooking your own. . Minimum effort, maximum flavor is what I’m alllllll about! 👌 . Leftovers work perfectly for lunch or, if you wanted to go ahead and put an egg on it then call it breakfast, I wouldn’t be mad about it. Yes, let do that too! . There is quite a few stretches being branded around lately and there all worth doing, this is just one of my go to stretches every morning. This stretch here is called Extended Arm Lizard. ------------------------------------------------- ✔️ - Hold for 3 to 6 minutes. ✔️ - Round back slightly. ✔️ - Reach as far forward as possible. ✔️ - Engage core, only slightly, don't over brace. ✔️ - Externally rotate raised knee slightly. ✔️ - Breathe through your nose. -------------------------------------------------

Not every day is perfect, today was busy, today we ate Panda Express. Aside from my disappointment in the size for the price ($7 for this tiny thing!!!) I was happy that the broccoli beef was fresh. I'm not no-carb, I'm low-carb. I've got the Pinner's Conference coming up in October and I'm hoping my self-confidence is off the charts so I can be as outgoing as possible!

I'm a little lost on my BG readings lately... Normally my post meal readings would be anywhere between 79-89, hardly in the 90's and never 99... I had a bacon omelet made with butter for breakfast and that's it 😬 . I know this is not a high post meal reading and I'm not worried just intrigued, but it's higher than my average 🤔 . Does anybody know what could cause this? Could heat have an effect? I did just return from doing the shopping and it is hot... .
