If I told you it was going to take 3-4 hours a day almost everyday for 8 years would you do it? I'm not going to sit here and preach to you about sacrifices, everyone who performs on an elite level knows how much they had to sacrifice to get there. While their friends were out on the weekends having a good time drinking at the bar, out late, or out at a park enjoying the weather hiking all over while you were in bed by 9 o'clock after your 6th meal of the day preparing your body for a leg workout on Saturday morning. It takes a certain kind of individual to know the hell they are going to put their body through for months and months for maybe a 10 pound PR on one of their lifts. THAT is why fitness and training is so impressive and so admirable. It takes nothing for you to start something for a few months or even a year and quit. Going back and forth and winding up with your fat ass back on the couch after 8-10 hours at work. Consistency over an extremely extended period of time is what creates that greatness. Find something you love and are passionate about, make the conscious decision to pursue that goal, and remind yourself day in and day out for years that you are going to accomplish it. Develop yourself, constantly reenforce your mind, and the results will follow. Большинство под предыдущим постом угадали, это ПП-ПИЦЦА🍕 Наверное, уже все её готовили, а я только сейчас собралась, но почти всю съели 🤤 Ваня мне в этом помог 😂 Итак, рецепт: 🔹 500 г куриного фарша (у меня готовый, можно сделать самим) 🔹 1 яйцо 🔹 соль, специи по вкусу Все смешиваем, распределяем на противне (лучше постелить бумагу для выпечки) и убираем в предварительно разогретую духовку до 180 С на 15 минут Вынимаем нашу основу, смазываем томатной пастой, можно смешать томатную пасту со сметанкой И украшаем любой начинкой (у меня помидор, грибы и сыр). Можно добавить ветчину, курочку, оливки и т.д Все зависит от ваших предпочтений 🤗

Not sure when I started doing the ATG squat. But I'm not a fan 🙅🏼It might be related to feeling like I had to drive so low when my hip was bugging me....either way, I have to unlearn it now. The second clip, I'm making a conscious effort to cut the squat "short." Felt much better on my knees and definitely recruited a lot more of my rear chain, versus just relying on that there stretch reflexxxxxx. Anywhoozens, The Texas Method is hard af. Don't let anyone tell you any differently.
Definitely thought t was Monday, oops 😬 Starting off the week with a mixed berry and cream cheese scone (splitting with a coworker but she let me take a picture first 😂). Scale weight is up again and I'm definitely feeling ready to pull back the reigns on this bulk/gaining phase but we'll see what coach says tomorrow! Piggybacking off my post from yesterday (thank you all so much for your kind words and support), just cause you don't feel super great, doesn't mean you change anything right away. Our bodies are amazing and they will adjust, especially if you are following a solid program focused on progressive overload/higher intensity. Take things slow, don't rush to cut or lean down if there's still the opportunity to make some muscular (and mind!) gains. Training needs and intensities vary from day to day. But, how do you know how much you need to make progress? How do you know how much you can recover from? Training by feel is okay, if you're really good at it, but it's still guesswork. Control the variables that you can control. Log your sets, reps, exercises, your preworkout meal and energy, and even how the sets feel. Guess who's back back back...Back again. That's my back, tell a friend. #transformationtuesday errbody!!! This was my second year at Bowling Green State and right when I decided to really get into lifting. But boy am I glad made that decision. 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪 It has always been difficult to judge progress on my own. But when I open up these sweaty underwear dorm room progress pictures I took 4 years ago and look at where I am now, I can't help but to get motivation to keep pushing forward. Make sure you take photos of yourself. The satisfaction of seeing your hardwork pay off is more than worth it.
THE BELLY IS GETTING SMALLER! I'm very proud of today's #transformationtuesday picture because of the fact that it shows just how much my belly has changed in the past 3 months. The top shows how much extra bodyfat was hanging off me. The bottom shows significantly less fat hanging off the belly. Using the ab roller screenshots to compare is a great marker for seeing progress because from the side, you can see everything. What's great is that I love myself now just as much as I did back in November. And that's the most important part for me. Loving myself at any size. While it's great that I made so much progress, it would not have been possible if I didn't love all of me from the very start. Thank you so much @rembies5 for pointing out something so simple, yet so impactful about my squat! I've had shoulder pain when I low bar for over a year now. So, @justlivindavis took low bar out of my programming until we got close to a meet. Barry recognized that I wrapped my thumbs around the bar when I squatted & suggested that I not do that. I finally got the courage to try it today & absolutely no pain at all in my shoulder! So here's 190 5x5 pain free, and easy! Also, I can tell how my focus on form with high bar will definitely carry over to low bar. Thank you @justlivindavis for forcing me to do something I hate!
