Want to grow the width of your inner back? Perform rowing exercises that involve rowing towards your chest . Here I'm doing a wide grip to better ensure I am rowing towards the chest with each rep and not towards my abs/hips (this type of row will involve more lats) . It's important that with each rep you are opening up your shoulder blades/protracting your scapula on the negative/stretch portion of the row and bringing them together/retracting your scapula on the positive/squeeze portion of the movement . You may notice that I am not seated during this particular machine row, instead I am standing and using my bodyweight to press my chest against the pad. The reason I am doing this is to ensure I am not using any momentum or cheat reps during this exercise . Correct form and tempo is a must if your primary goal is muscle growth!
