Make measurable progress in reasonable time. 🔺 You have to be realistic in your goals. Building muscle takes time. Losing fat takes time. Growing an awesome Viking beard takes time. Go easy on yourself and learn what you can realistically expect in x amount of time. I've been at this bodybuilding game only for a year with consistency. I've been in the gym for three years consistently. This wasn't over night and it won't be for you. Bit give it time. It will come. Some Friday night fun hitting Shoulders. After a few rough training sessions earlier this week, it was great to get to work and have some fun with some good people. Can't wait to do it all over again tomorrow!
My 6 Week Challenge! . I enjoy just about any type of training but I REALLY enjoy bodybuilding and powerlifting! The problem is these two don't mix well and it can be very hard to be have a good "bodybuilding" physique while also being able to squat, deadlift, and bench like a powerlifter. However, I enjoy pushing my body to new limits and so I'm dedicating these next 6 weeks to get ripped while staying strong! . Here are my current numbers: 1. My bodyweight is 209lb and bf% is 16ish (I would guess) 2. My squat is 465lb, deadlift 515lb, and bench press is 325lb Here are my goals: 1. I want to drop to 190-193 with a bf% of about 10% 2. I want my squat to maintain around 440ish, deadlift 490ish, and bench 320ish 3. I want to look "semi" like the picture which was taken on show day (I put "semi" because I know I won't look exactly like that but I want to get as close to that look as I can while being strong). . Yeah, I'm not going for PRs but I'm trying to get proportionally stronger and get leaner at the same time. Again, I'm not sure if this will work like I want it to but I'm gonna push as hard as I can and we'll see what happens! . Regarding my diet and cardio, I'm gonna start at like 2500cal and probably carb cycle and see how my body reacts. As for cardio, I'll probably hit two 20-30min steady state sessions per day and I'll probably still do the 400m of lunges 4x week which will count as part of my first session of cardio. . Anyways, I'm SUPER excited to see how this works and hopefully I can see some big changes in the upcoming weeks! . •gonna get real with you guys for a minute, so bare with me• Most of you know me as the girl that landed on the golf course a year ago. I still get asked every day if it changed my mind at all about flying and if I still go up on a regular basis. To that I answer "hellz yes I'm still flying!" . It didn't change my mind about flying if anything I appreciate it even more so now BUT it changed my mind on just about everything else. For about 6 years I was pretty much anything but happy. The only time I ever felt at peace was when I was in the air. It was my escape for sure. I vividly remember my first ever flight lesson in a 152. It was the first time that I was old enough to remember being in a small plane and also the first time in a long time I felt like I could breath. And every time I went up after that everything felt like I had left it behind as soon as I took off but right when the wheels hit the ground it all came back. When my engine quit at first it didn't phase me. I was like "well here we are". But the more people asked me the more I was bothered by the fact that I wasn't phased by it. And then it hit me all at once "Sierra what the fuck are you doing" I could die tomorrow and the only time I ever feel anything anymore is when I'm not on the ground? Bull shit. I promised myself that I would start doing things that scared me and things that I've always wanted to do but never had the balls to do them because I was determined to figure out how to start living, I was tired of faking it. The week after I committed to my first bodybuilding competition without a clue what I was doing. Along the way I started figuring out how to live with my feet on the ground. A year later and I can honestly say I am a completely different person, in the best way possible. I am genuinely happy and excited about life, I am the hardest working most determined version of myself, and my eyes are open enough now to see the magic in every day. I don't say it enough but I couldn't be more grateful for the people in my life that have helped me get to this point without even knowing it and for the experiences life has thrown my way, good and bad. I wouldn't be who I am today, going
