Strength and Conditioning holds great importance in all sports, it builds speed, strength, endurance, power etc. Building these attributes are going to help take your game to the next level. Smashing out 100 reps of something predominantly focuses on type 1 muscle fibres this is great for endurance, but does not stimulate your type 2 muscle fibres. Type 2 muscle fibres give you that explosion which gives you power to nail the takedowns and deliver knockout power with strikes. To stimulate these muscle fibres you need to be doing lower repetitions and explosive movements. This is where weight training comes in. Strength and Conditioning should not take over your martial arts training as there is such a high technical aspect to fighting. Which you can not slouch on. A good focus for strength and conditioning is 2-3x a week. But I'm always striving to do my best. I'm never giving up on my journey. And I'm grateful daily for the opportunity to be a coach for bringing me the accountability I need. Without it, I don't know where I would be in this journey. I would have gained the weight back by now like I did every other time. But not this time!! Don't underestimate the power of support and accountability. You are so much stronger with others than you are when you're alone. 👯👯👯 And not just the support - but for constantly pushing me to work on my personal development. Because your MINDSET will determine your results. You have to work from the inside if you want to change on the outside. 💕 Don't ever give up on your journey and your goals. 2014 vs. 2017 hello #transformationtuesday . Haven't post this in a while. I'm so glad that girl in 2014 decided to leave an abusive boyfriend and move on for the better future for her son. It took me 2 years to get over of 4 years of domestic violent relationship it took me 2 years to find myself and realize what freedom feels like. I'm now 9 months into my whole30 life and I love the way I feel I look the way my mind is set. I love the fact that I quit smoking almost 7 months ago and now working on my food freedom. Best part is that I'm being example for my 3year old son and the best way to teach him is to show him!

Hallo ihr Rabauken! Es folgt mein Beitrag zum #transformationtuesday ✌🏻❌❌❌ Zum Thema ARME ❌❌❌! Ich erzähle euch mal eine kleine Anekdote aus meiner Schulzeit. 8. Klasse. Stellt euch die kleine, übergewichtige, aber noch sehr lebensfrohe Julia vor. Ich habe schon mein Leben lang eine Allergie gegen Insektenstiche. Eines schönen Sommertages stach mich eine Wespe in den Arm. Ich lief voller Panik ins Sekretariat. Unsere Schulsekretärin wusste von meiner Allergie und während sie versuchte, meine Mama zu erreichen, bat sie mich, den gestochenen Arm zu heben. Als ich das tat, rief sie voller Schreck "oh Gott, der ist ja schon ganz schrecklich angeschwollen!" Dann bat sie mich, zum Vergleich den anderen Arm zu heben. Als ich auch diesem Wunsch nachkam, sagte sie nur kleinlaut "ach ne, der ist ja genauso dick." Was meint ihr, was das mit mir gemacht hat. Sowas ist mir ständig passiert. Heute weiß ich, das war ein beginnendes Lipödem. Das linke Bild ist wohl ca. vor anderthalb Jahren entstanden. Ich hatte schon einiges abgenommen und mich sehr schlank gefühlt. Das rechte Bild ist eine Stunde alt und alles weitere lasse ich mal unkommentiert. Aber so langsam bekomme ich eine Ahnung, wie wunderbar mein Ergebnis am Ende meiner Diät sein wird. So, ich fahre jetzt nach Hause und nehme meine neue #fitbitcharge2 entgegen 😍
