Pt. 205 Ben's POV I paced my office, waiting for my three children, ignoring Ella's pleas for me to relax. I couldn't. I was seething! I knew I didn't order that DNA test and I believed Ella when she told me she hadn't, if anything, she encouraged a relationship with Y/N. So, that only left three people who would be to blame. One of my own three children. "Hey guys!" Grant was the first to show up, kissing his mother on the cheek, opting to stay out of my way due to my expression. "Sit!" I demanded, prompting him to take the only other seat next to Ella. "What's going on?" Before I could answer, the other two walked in, asking the same. "Who ordered the DNA test?" I eyed the three of them. Grant looked confused while Tessa and Drew looked like they'd just been caught. I knew my children and although they'd grown up, some things never changed. They were guilty. "Really?" Grant peered up at his older siblings, "What is wrong with you guys, seriously?!" "Dad," Tessa began, but Drew interrupted. "Dad, we don't know if she even is your daughter. For all we know that woman found some random person and they conned you, just so they can get their hands on-" "Oh, shut up!" I cut him off, "I have never been more ashamed of you two. Never!" I took a deep breath and sat down in my seat, not daring to look at any of them. This was supposed to be my family. They are supposed to stand with me, not against me. "I cannot believe you had the nerve not only to question her, but me." "Dad, we're just trying to protect you-" "Enough, Tessa," I nearly yelled, slamming my fist on my desk, everyone but Grant jumping. "Seriously, she has enough to deal with," Grant shook his head. "What do you mean?" I looked over at him, his eyes widening slightly as all the attention was on him. "Do you guys read? Harry's ex is trying to get custody of their son and there's supposedly an investigation going on like CPS or something. And I heard through the grapevine that Harry isn't their daughter's real father either and her biological father wants custody as well-" "Good," Tessa smirked.
