Never been the type for leisurely reading but this book has changed my life and I'm not being dramatic. We always mention becoming better versions of ourselves, so I encourage you to give it a read, athlete or not. My belief/philosophy of health and wellness and how it translates into your everyday life is in this book. From performance, teamwork, personal goals and relationships etc...You can learn from this book. A champion is not how one carries themselves in the ring but how they carry themselves outside of it as well.
✖️No Equipment Weekend Sanity Workout✖️ It's been a pretty hectic week & Saturday for us is normally about rest and recovery (and some manic housecleaning😊) but I couldn't fit in a workout this week (and I work in a gym, yep the struggle is real!) ➡️When you're crazy busy is when you need to take time out for YOU the most & using exercise to clear your head & gain perspective is a great tool, but we do tend to prioritise other things & put off exercising➡️and so the spiral of getting out of routine begins 🌟Try this little circuit for those times that things feel a little out of control & the bad habits start to creep in ✔️No equipment required & a max 20 mins of your time... (we tried to get Alexander to participate, but he had no interest 😂) ____________________________________________ 7 exercises - 45 Seconds of each exercise (repeat twice as a minimum) •Squat jumps (45sec) to squat hold (15sec) •Single leg pulse jumps (45 sec each leg) •Tricep dips (45 sec) •Half burpee push ups (45 sec) •Kneeling lean backs (45 sec) •Scissors (45 sec) •Active planks (45 sec) ____________________________________________ For Online Training program, meal plans & recipes ➡️ www.mindbodyblitz.com For Personal Training, Group Classes & Mindset Coaching➡️ www.loudywiggins.com.au
There is so much that happens in our lives that we can not control. What we can control is our thoughts. Thinking positively is a choice. Believing that good things can happen for you (abundance, an amazing job, a healthy relationship, honest and kind friends...) is a choice. You know the saying fall 7 times and stand up 8? It means that you need to just keep going. Take time to see the lessons in your falls. And then instead of thinking "bad things always happen to me" choose to shift your perspective and believe, truly believe, that good things are coming. Don't give up!!! You've got this!
Because it will hurt. Because failing is hard. Because your comfort zone is screaming for you to come back. Every inch of your body tells you to stop. You know why? Because we are programmed this way, but we know better now, life has changed, we have changed but our human instincts haven't... and that's why you have to push harder. And guess what, maybe you'll fail, maybe you'll fail 10 times. But if you stop trying, you've already lost. Just remember, each effort you put in is progress, and progress = happiness ! 🏆 . . YOUR LIFE WILL BE HARD IF YOU DO WHAT IS EASY 🔥 . . .
"Every successful chef I know has had just really intense moments of failure. Failure is important. It introduces you to an idea that you don’t ever wanna return to." - Chef Dan Barber How is it that I've just started watching this?! So many amazing stories about resilience, perseverance and creating your own path. It's so timely as I'm getting ready to launch a new project that I'm super excited to share. Stay tuned for details. In the meantime, if you're looking for me, it's pretty likely I'll be on a Netflix's binge this weekend.... 📺🍿🥂
Great progress from this happy chappy! We've added in a few more hypertrophy methods into James's programme in this next block to help him maintain size while he drops body fat. Post contrast tempo and you can see how jacked he's looking! Leading a busy life, still training hard and being consistent with nutrition and it shows! Bodyfat site measurements are coming down, as is weight. #jacked
Looking forward to building with the staff of the GMLC-Mack location in East Detroit. Great session today. The goal is to develop them professionally as well as personally. #DRspeaks#GreatnessUnleashed
Your here to do great and amazing things! Dont squander the unique talents you have and settle for mediocrity. In a thousand years there hasn't been someone like you and there wont be in a thousand more!
You have a "negative past" and? Those who judge you by your past do so out of their own demons and insecurities. Truth is ANYONE can change, become better and rise above their circumstances. ⠀ ⠀ YOU rise, dust the dirt of your knees and thrive. That thing, the mistake is a lesson and your starting point to a new chapter, the new life God want's to give you. If God doesn't hold your past over your head, don't allow anyone else to hold it over your head. ⠀ ⠀ This is your chance to rise and make the rest of your life great.
This guy.... I've heard of him. His coach has shared his progress with me over the past few months and I've been impressed and inspired (from afar) by the strides he's made along his health/wellness journey... Today, during casual conversation before I knew who I was talking to I learned this about him: He is a husband and a father of 3 young kids. He coaches his sons football team, on the side of his full time job (while pursuing his own business in his 'free time' on the side). He has lost over 110lbs has gone from a 50 inch waist, to a 44 inch waist all WITHOUT having any kind of surgery, and with minimal to no workouts. I couldn't help but share my gratitude to this human, for sharing his time and story with me today. Thank you Chris Tillery for being a prime example of what one must do in order to achieve their goals. What's his secret? 1. He's consistent 2. He has a coach/supportive community 3. He's willing to do what most people aren't (give up the excuses- and take control), in order to achieve what many people won't. Are you ready to start your wellness journey? Allow me to show you the way with a complimentary consultation; contact me @MyCoachAndreaCordova or TEXT- 'I'm ready" to 720.934.7157 #NoExcuses#Mindset#FlexFriday#DinnerWithDea#Mealprep#Fitness#Lifestyle
Great definition of success repeated in “You Were Born Rich,” by Bob Proctor...”Success is not a destination, never has been but it is something that has always been called a journey. It is not something you get, it something you’re becoming. It never ends. It’s infinite in terms of growth!!!” Love this!!!❤
