Once upon a time Buddha was asked to the young boy "what you gained from meditation ?" He replied "nothing !!!" Buddha replied " let me tell you what you have lost, you have lost your anger, anxiety, depression, insecurity, and the fear of old age and death" . . . #meditate#meditation#prayer
I am not one to post about this, and I find this extremely difficult to share. But if this helps just one person it makes me so very happy. Anxiety comes in many forms and is consuming, it is exhausting, it leaves uncertainty, it creates doubt, irrational thoughts, it will make you feel alone when many people are around you. it's brings panic when there is none, it is scary, it feels as if you are going crazy and you can go to very dark places. This is what I am unfortunately going through at this moment. For the last 6 weeks my life has felt upside down. I have such a strong support system and coping strategies. I'm finally making some head way, but the battle is long and I must stay true to myself. Patience is key and reassurance. I run, meditate daily, and use people around me to find strength. I volunteer at lifeline Australia, so unfortunately have had to take a break from doing what I do best in helping people, but you can't help others until you help yourself. Your mental health is important, your physical well being is important, be kind to yourself and the healing can begin. One thing I will reassure, when you are at your lowest believe me you can only go up, hang in there, it does get better! If you have to change your lifestyle, do it! And talk about it, this is the first step to your road of repair. Happiness is key!X #anxiety#health#mentalhealth#strength#love#bekind#exercise#run#running#talk#meditate#mediatation#bestrong#focus#bekindtoyourself#mates#lifeline#notalone#healing#chakra#anxietysucks#believe#marathon#friends#life#human#notbroken#happy#sun#fitness @mindfulness_daily
Wishing you all a #blessed Maha Shivaratri. Shiva my Lord, I #bow to you. The #auspicious one. The Giver of #Joy . The destroyer of ignorance. ॐ May we all keep Shiva's name in our #hearts and #chant His #holy name... repeating the #mantra "Om Namah Shivaya" ! People ask me what Om Namah Shivaya means. There are no #words to answer that question ... because all of the #Cosmos is in this mantra. This mantra is everything and #everything is it. One understanding of the mantra is ... "I bow, I surrender, in deep reverence, in deep #devotion to my Higher Self." Om Namah Shivaya!!! Repeating mantra dissolves the tendencies, the self-limiting beliefs and the conditioning into #nothingness . Especially when we chant Shiva's name. The #Giver of All <3 The Destroyer of the ego. The great God of Meditation. The innocent One. When we repeat mantra, there's a natural surrender and letting go that happens and then we become more receptive to His Divine Grace. Take some time to get quiet tomorrow. Practice an austerity. Chant. Fast. Pray. Meditate. Do Puja. Celebrate. Invoke Shiva's energy. May Shiva's auspiciousness bless you and fill you up. Jai Shiva Shakti 🔺 Om Namah Shivaya 🔺

Lord Shiva & Parvati @princepavan4486 #Shiva is the most powerful of the 3 Gods in the Hindu Trimurti & also the most complex. #mahadev_shiv_shambo He is typically found in peaceful meditation, yet is known as “the destroyer". But what Shiva dissolves can be recreated with the help of his consort #Parvati , the goddess of #love , fertility & devotion. Together they make a formidable couple that when invoked lead to personal transformation. Lord Shiva is an unpredictable #God . Although he can appear tranquil, he easily flies into fits of rage, impulsive acts & at times can be callous. Yet he is considered the most powerful of the Gods in the Hindu Pantheon. #Brahma & #Vishnu came to realise this in the story of the shiva linga – the #Universal#energy of life that has no beginning and no end. The principle #power of Shiva comes from helping us realise our #true (#self ) selves and destroying the aspects of our character and belief systems that no longer serve us. Shiva may be known as the #destroyer in #ancient symbolism, but he is also associated with #fertility , thus represents #death & #rebirth , the process of personal #transformation . When you #meditate upon the innate powers that are represented by Shiva, you can dissolve your weaknesses and create the strengths of character you need to better yourself in life & by applying the magical essence of his consort Parvati in your every day life, you have the ability to grow & improve your life for the better. The ability to invoke the powers of Shiva & Parvati are particularly relevant for destroying bad habits and addictions. There are many lessons we can learn from the personifications of Shiva & Parvati in sacred texts. But the most important is to recognise your faults & resolve yourself to #change . Shiva is essentially an ascetic, a #devote worshipper that sacrifices worldly pleasures in search of #divine#knowledge . Because of this we often see Shiva in deep meditation.
