Yay! Whoo hoo! 🎉 So far, so good!! 🎈🎉🚭 Yay! 💕I have 3 weeks of not smoking cigarettes under my belt! Those first few days were a BEAST! You hear me?! I was so sad, mad, and I even cried because I wanted to smoke so bad. But now I feel really confident and good. I would say great, but I don't want to push it. If I can fast for 30 days, I can do anything. I feel so empowered and so good. I feel really good and I'm doing really good. I'm not even tripping on no cigarette. AT ALL! And I'm really happy about that. The things that I have to gain are so much more desirable for me in my life right now. I feel beautiful, life is beautiful, everything is beautiful and a cigarette just doesn't fit well with that picture & vision that I see for myself. . My first day of the not smoking thing started on June 30. . Today is July 21st, which is my 21st day smoke free and I'm sharing this with everyone just so I can woman up, be transparent, be accountable, and see it through. I have been keeping my mind positive on all the good reasons why I shouldn't smoke and I'm doing it for my son. He found out that I smoked and he asked me to stop and I said yes. So I don't want to be a liar. At first, I wished he would have never found out! But now, I'm cool 😎 . Thanks for all of the encouragement and positivity. I appreciate your understanding and you can save the ridicule or the negative comments. Please. Thank you. My son told me if I was going to be healthy and be on a health and wellness journey, that I needed to do it 100%. So here I am. Butt naked and smoke free and not mad. The more days I get under my belt, the easier this smokeless journey will be and eventually it'll become a memory & a testimony. For my last post this week I wanted to share some easy protein ideas while camping! Make sure you pack those eggs; you can easily scramble a few in a pan every morning, or even crack a few into a foil packet with some ham or bacon and some pre-chopped potatoes or yams! Don't want that much cooking? Try hardboiling some at home for an easy pre-cooked option for breakfast or snacks. Also don't think you have to leave the chicken at home! You can easily make skewers with chicken, pork, or beef stacked with lots of fresh veggies such as zucchini, mushrooms, tomatoes, etc. for some awesome kebabs at lunch or dinner time! A beer can chicken can be a great go-to dinner with some awesome smoky flavour. Lastly feel free to pack pepperoni sticks, or some deli lunch meat for easy grab and go snacks!
