This morning I want to note the importance of a good warm up as well as stretching to incorporate into your workouts. Your muscles are similar to a rubber band, they need to be stretched in order to contract and utilize optimum strength and endurance. A cold muscle is like a frozen rubber band, it makes you more susceptible to injury. Here are a few groin, hamstring and lower back stretches to include

Sad that summer is almost over for two reasons and two reasons only... 1. Longer daylight period 2. Watermelon And really, watermelon is easily the biggest reason. I think I'm going to have to buy several watermelons and prep them to freeze.
I took my workout to the driveway with my trusted guard dog this morning! It wasn't too hot yet so I wanted to take advantage of that and get outside! With our app, you can either stream workouts or download them to your device (if you don't have wifi) so can do your workout anywhere!! I mostly use it with I am traveling, but a lot of people will use it at the gym or outside! 6 months ago I would have squirmed in my seat at the thought of missing the gym 2 days in a row 😬 Matter of fact I would have gone and bought another $30 a month gym membership if it meant 24/7 availability just to ease my anxiety of missing a day. I've come a long way since then. Having an obsession about being healthy----is unhealthy. Breaks are good. Rest is necessary. And doing what you love and keeping life simple is---complicated.
