VIII I don't know how many days I had been in that jail but I was dehydrated and begging for a miracle. I was quite skinnier and pallid. My cheekbones were just bones. I didn't have a mirror around but I didn't need it to imagine that I looked like if I were sucked by a ghost. Suddenly, I heard something falling on the floor and I turned around facing the door. There was the unknown man that threw a bottle of water and a little box. "Take it." I managed to stand up and take the water and open the box. A little bit of food was in there and I looked at the man. "Is it poisoned?" "Probably. We ain't nice people, but we can't let you die. At least not now." I didn't know how to take that. But I was in need of liquids, so I drank the whole bottle and ate everything that was in there no matter the consequences. I didn't give a single fuck if there was snake venom; I needed to feed myself or I'd become a skeleton. When I finished, Harry appeared and for my surprise, he had no weapon on his hands or his pockets. "You ate it even being poisoned?" I nodded. "Impressive. Stupid but impressive." "I'm gonna tell you something." "If I were you, I'd be careful with the words you're gonna choose." "You're a coward." "What?" I breathed deeply to believe what I just said. And I repeated. "You're a coward." "I am a coward... interesting philosophy." He smirked at me like he was about to punch me. "You're a coward." I repeated once again. "Okay, I got enough from you." He started to leave. "See? You're leaving." "I'm leaving cause you're annoying as hell." "No, you're leaving cause you can't deal with me. A few weeks ago, you shot me just because I told you that we don't get what we always want. And you know it's true." I stood up facing him and walking closer. "You know more than anyone that we can't get what we want and this is why you're a criminal. You need that through anyway, and it scares you that destiny turns out to be against you. I clearly see it. You're a coward for many things. You don't face anything. You don't face the truth." "And you do?" "I do." I crossed my arms as he came closer. Our faces were almost touching and I didn't like that. "How?" "I'm facing you now."
