Yesterday we visited Maximilians in Berlin and boy are we glad we did. The staff were wonderful and welcoming from the off. Dressed in traditional Bavarian Lederhosen and all clearly enjoyed a good arl bit of scran, our kinda people. I opted for a Venison Ragu with these weird noodles while my male counterpart opted for a Veal Schnitzel with potato salad, both choices complimented by the waiter. We were a bit shakey as we'd never tried traditional Bavarian food before but holy hell....we would again. Venison was really gamey and tasty and went so well with the cranberry sauce. The noodles were a bit weird texture wise but I got on board with it and mixed together with the ragu they were goooood. Rating in at a bloody good 9/10 on the alrightness scale making it absolutely top end alright. The beer was good and the portion size was absolutely HUGE. Not really veggie friendly if you're that way inclined however. Judging by the size of the pork knuckle being served on the plate next to us you'd probably burst into tears. Bogs were spotless and the menu was reasonably priced for an upscale eatery in the German Capital. Would 100% come out of my way to come here again. Thanks guys!. 🍻🍛
I was so excited to try Rare Madagascar Vanilla and Sweet n Smooth Peaches and Cream at the YOGURTLAND HQ! Ahh! I liked the vanilla the best, since I am more into plain yogurt flavors LOL! It's a super creamy and thick vanilla back for a limited time until July 1! _ Check out the blog: www.eatwithhop.com !
