This insta post is my proof to @allieheartsyou that I am not working through my lunchbreak 😒. Some no feet snatch sets from yesterday's session. Since being at @brooklynbarbell, I've really enjoyed learning and practicing oly technique and I'm really happy with how far my lifting has come since I've started here.
When the flu has hit you so you take a day to rest, recover, and rebuild. But goals don't stop for sickness. And that means I'm still going to eat, eat my healthy food. Eat what I prepped because really you can train and train and train but if what is in the end of your fork isn't on point, then your results will lack. So between studying, I'm taking my meal breaks. Here is just 4 oz lean ground beef patty, 1 c green beans, 1/4 c reduced fat cheese, 1/2 c red potatoes with reduced sugar ketchup. My goals have changed. I don't want to keep adding more and more size. I just want to lean down,.lean out, for life. Moderate muscle but be defined. Defined for what is healthy for my body and no one else's. Quite frankly I don't want big capping shoulders anymore. Big quads, or huge glutes for days. I just want to be fit, healthy, happy, lean, and defined. So taking to off of training but still eating healthy isn't having me in a huge anxiety ridden stage. Because I'm not trying to gain muscle size and other things are taking priority. Like taking a study break to eat, and then go finish up a police packet and turn it in. Thankfully transcripts get mailed cause I can't get those until tomorrow. Like bruhhhhh. But it's okay to change your goals. I never want to step on stage again. I don't want to be a she hulk. It's always good to know that you haven't lost all of your #murves due to a) a busted knee and b) being sick (thanks for the yo-yo weather mother nature). So it's looking like I'm going to have to start from scratch again due to my double knee bruise taking 10 years to heal 😐😣😲😤🙃 no gym for 2 weeks is taking its toll on me! Gah... rant done.
