#Imhotep - @Regrann from @gmo_gus - Follow @beautysecretsforall What happens in the gut does NOT stay in the gut. . It's fascinating that in the 3rd century where science was not advanced enough, a man who we all know as Hippocrates (a Greek physician), discovered some of the most amazing and useful theories, we now have just understood! . I mean "let food be thy medicine, and medicine thy food", "walking is man's best medicine", as well as "all disease begins in the gut"...these are what we NOW have learned and realized how important walking, food, and eating healthfully is. . People ask me everyday why I want to be a dietician, and the reason is so simple. I like disease prevention- and most disease (especially chronic) are linked to nutrition and bad choices! I want to prevent that ✨ . This is so important to me, that I wrote a whole cookbook on healing, good gut bacteria promoting, and anti-aging recipes. Oh for anyone interested it is 50% off currently with promo code ✨"Friday" ✨ . Anyways food is so important and there is a second brain in the gut. The food choices you make today, determine your health and well being in the future. There are 2 key mechanisms that lead to brain degeneration: 1️⃣Chronic inflammation and 2️⃣action of free radicals... .This is why almost all my recipes in the cookbook use anti-inflammatory substances like turmeric, ginger and garlic, as well as anti-oxidants than fight free radicals, keeping you young and beautiful and boosting your immunity, decreasing the chance of sickness. . Inflammation causes your body to "rust" because gut bacteria (via how you eat) influences your health and overall well being. The more inflammation in your system, the more chance for disease! . Chronic inflammation and free radicle damage lie front and center in neuroscience BUT only diet can "fix" and manage this. . Now in the 19th century, the Russian born biologist Elie Mechnikov made the stunning direct link between human longevity and a healthy balance of bacteria in the body, confirming that "death begins in the colon" - more than 90% of all human disease can be traced back to an unhealthy gut, which is mostly caused by a bad diet
Imhotep is really enjoyable, quick to learn and easy to teach. Taking the role of master builders in Egypt, you stockpile and use stones, load up ships, and build temples, burial chambers and even pyramids! Deceptively simple, there is a lot of strategy involved and great interaction too. It plays great with two too!
5 Most Powerful African Kings In History: 1. Imhotep – Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt from 2200 BC Imhotep is definitely one of the most underrated kings in Africa whose achievements are way above what an average man would term as miracles. To be precise, he was the first genius to ever pop up in the African history, and his intelligence made him the chief advisor to king Zoster in Ancient Kemet's third dynasty. Imhotep was an astronomer, an architect, a physicist, a philosopher and a poet. In addition to this, he was the man behind all the great designs in Egypt; for example, the Saqqara complex and the step pyramid. His achievements earned him a series of titles; for instance, he was referred to as the High - priest of Heliopolis, the-first-after-the-king-of-upper-Kemet and the administrator-of-the-great-palace among a series of other titles. In addition to all that, he is also believed to be the author of the popular Edwin Smith Papyrus - a book with over 90 astronomical terms with 48 healing processes for different injuries. After his death, he was given the name Asceli plus, which literally translates to medicine God. Apparently, his tomb still lies sacredly in Memphis, and is considered as a pilgrimage site for anyone who is seeking a cure. Today was the most fun The Mummy has ever had roaming around outside of his tomb. He got to make magic with his boys Frankenstein, Dracula, Beetlejuice, Scooby Doo, Woodie, Spongebob, and the New York cop all day. There were moments where the mummy shed tears of joy because of how happy and fun filled this day was. So many heartwarming interactions. The highlight of the day for Imhotep though was meeting one of his favorite makeup artists, @euvictornogueira He's so talented, so sexy and such a sweetheart! (you've probably seen one of his videos on facebook!) #victornogueira#mua#quelindo#brazil#horror#themummy#imhotep
