Ehh because my glutes may have been measuring bigger but they were mostly fat so they'd flatten. I would have to squeeze so hard to lift them for a "belfie" lol Well I can just turn around and snap and no I don't have the biggest booty but I have muscle!! Almost pure muscle I worked damn hard for. My point is be proud of every step!! Meet yourself where you're at. I say that all the time. The scale is shit for measuring your progress and in my case even the measuring tape can be. This has been difficult for me to adjust to way less body fat in the off season but I'm super excited when coach says it's time to start leaning out to see more muscle and more definition in the lower body this time around. As for competing I'm keeping when and where in the hands of @jamidebernard cause I trust her 💯% if you're looking for a coach who will put your mental and physical health first I highly recommend you shoot her a message. Oatmeal has been my go-to pre-workout meal lately. Oats are a complex carb, meaning it is slow-digesting and provides the energy you'll need to kick some booty in the gym (or at home!) # Decided to spice things up and added some crunchy PB and some mini m&m's (thank you @cori_fit for the idea!) and it was the PERFECT amount of chocolate-y sweetness 😍 # Only 1 TB (about 15 grams) = 70 cal 1P 10C 3F # Needless to say, both my 4 yr old & my 1.5 yr old wanted in on it, so I had to give them one of my prepped overnight oats 🤙🏼 # Happy Friday! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
It has taken me 22 MONTHS to get to where I am. I had my 4th (and final) baby 2 years ago on March 29th. I started working out 3 weeks after I had him and have been pretty darn consistent since then. I make the choice to get up every day and workout because I feel better when I do. I make mindful food choices 90% of the time. I have taken 1 step forward and 2 steps back A LOT. It's been hard but it has also gotten easier. Whatever you're working towards, keep at it. It will come with time, patience and most important, consistency.

Woke uP lykE Dis💁🏼. This is what I currently look like. I haven't been sticking to my strict diet, everyday this passed week I had full pizzas, family size bags of Doritos, cheetos, cookies and all junk...Along with my regular meal prep, but because of all the delicous food I been eating I been lifting heavier in the gym to make those gainzzzzzzzz. It's ok to give your body some treats, but hopefully you have better self control then me..🤦🏼♀️

#FLEXFRIDAY#Repost @confessionsofasuperfoodie ・・・ Two years ago I was eating low carbs, running 5 or more miles every day & doing CrossFit. I looked good but I was 10 lbs off my goal weight & couldn't understand why my body wasn't changing. I felt cheated working so hard & not having the body I wanted & I was miserable depriving myself of the food I loved! ☹️ Then I discovered Flexible Eating & was told that not only could I eat carbs & lose weight but those carbs could come from things like pizza 🍕& ice cream 🍦 & cookies 🍪😍I was skeptical at first, I mean maybe my body just didn't know how to process carbs. Well @jasonackerman78 set me straight, I wasn't special 😂 my body needs carbs just like everyone else's! And he was right. Change is hard & it took me a while to trust the process. But after 3 months of consistently tracking my macros whilst traveling around the world & eating delicious foods, I hit my goal weight & started seeing abs. Happy days 🤗 Now I don't run for exercise anymore, I run when I feel like it & truly enjoy it. I eat the foods I love & consume 600 more calories than when I started and continue to get stronger & leaner 💪🏻Flexible Eating has transformed my body & my mindset. Exercise shouldn't be a form of punishment & eating shouldn't cause anxiety.
#FridayFitspiration I've always noticed the workouts I hate are the ones I'm not good at. The more I do them the better I get and inevitably I feel so great about my progress. You won't get the body you want by avoiding all the hard stuff! What's your least favorite workout to do? Mine is cardio 🙈 all cardio.
