I knew I had fell in love with things that deemed sacrifice. If it forces you grow from the roots, it's something worth fighting for. I had to let the fear starve and feed it the poison it once tried to use against me. I felt all this rushing in my veins, the desire to be on top, claim victory and demolish any possibilities of being defeated. I couldn't fall, for my knees had enough scars and I couldn't afford to reopen any wound. I was staring at myself, everyone around but selectively listening to my heartbeat speed up in crescendo. The voices around me suddenly dimmed as my vision took the spotlight. I knew no amount of turbulence could set me off course, I knew no force of wind could redirect my compass. I am not a god, I am not of divine power. I do not claim that pedestal but I am the greatest of my kind because I solemnly believe it to be true. Narcissism isn't in my nature, I am just crudely honest with my subconscious revelations. I am built this way because of the foundation I carved for myself, I carry my own self made artillery when I walk into a room. 💪🏼👶🏼TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY👶🏼💪🏼 •The day I had my son I was 200 lbs. I had gained 60 lbs during my pregnancy, even with a good diet and exercise. Being in great shape through pregnancy helped with a quick labor and when I started training again after having my son, my body handled it great. I started with low weights all over again, but quickly worked my way back up. The last picture is 6 months after having my son. I'm more muscular now...but what a transformation. Dedication, diet and no excuses (not even a newborn) can go a long way!

Got another session of my tattoo done this past weekend and so happy it's healing faster this time so I can get back to yoga and working out. Sometimes the things that help us the most with stress and anxiety are the first we let go of, the first we take off of the list of things to do when the list gets too long. I know for me that a certain level and length of time of higher intensity workout is the best reset for me. This is why I like Ashtanga yoga and running. It's like I need to exercise out the excess energy. And yet at times I forget that to be true and let it be the first thing to get scratched off the to-do list. Fingers crossed this is not one of those lessons I will continue to need to relearn for the rest of my life...I think 20 times of relearning this lesson is good enough 😜 What's a lesson you are always needed to relearn?
