In a day and age where people are making up all sorts of crazy exercises, we can always test them with one thing. Where is my pelvis? Can I get it where I can squeeze my butt? If not then fancy or not delete it from your routine. I've had to do this with things I like. Better safe than sorry and better with the body we want rather than years of hard work and a result we don't like because it looks off. Am I right? For all our full guides, click the link in our bio 👆 We appreciate you! If you can't feel your glutes squeeze together then the pelvis isn't neutral. This is our true center. The whole "Core" thing isn't a real thing in the anatomy world as far as a center goes, in fact if you have your pelvis out in an anterior tilt that strong 6 pack you have can't even fire to hold you the way you'd want it to. It'll just end up further curving your lower back when you squeeze your abs. Think of the things you do the most. Are you really conscious of your pelvis when you walk, sit, drive, fly, stand, workout, cardio, stretch? They ALL matter and man it's literally such a pain in the butt to remember all day, but guys seriously you spend all that effort thinking about your workouts, your diet, your cardio, Yada Yada but we don't want to train our brains this way too? The most important piece. It's like spending so much time washing your car and then you don't dry it and leave water spots everywhere. Your wax job is your maintenance in your routine. Foam rolling, stretching, negative style and time under tension workouts, body work, massage, etc..You owe it to yourself In summary don't make more work for yourself by letting your pelvis move freely. Try and focus on keeping it in place for one day. I'll bet you feel all sorts of sore goodies all through your body. You'll be like "Dang what the heck makes that sore, oh yeah I did that pelvis thing" Thanks everyone!
