#sundayfunday Working out without a shirt helps with 3 things. 1. It's hot as 🔥 in here 2. I can come to terms with how my body looks. My brain is constantly thinking I'm bigger than I actually am. I may not be tiny, but I'm not as bad as I perceive myself. 3. It surprisingly boosted my confidence. Sure I don't have the flattest of abs, but I look pretty damn strong. One of the main reasons why I've never really cut before was because of my ED. After being stuck in that mindset for so long, it's hard to not be extra extreme and extra critical when it comes to aesthetic goals. I gave myself the last 2 days off from tracking macros so my brain wouldn't start freaking out if I ate something too high in fat or not enough protein. Today is my official reset day. I'm off from work, so with a wide open schedule I could wake up whenever, work out whenever, and take a better look at my food intake.  Today's main focus is protein: I'm always a few g's short even with a protein shake😑Once I nail that, I move on from there.  My workout today focused on form for squats/deadlifts, and some more accessory work to help me improve (like doing 120 walking lunges😳). This lifestyle is not about looking a certain way for other people. That's what bodybuilding competitions are for. Real life isn't like that. You're not going to be 💯 all the time. You might not even be 💯 80% of the time. Fitness is about being the best version of yourself that you could possibly be. Happy ☀️day! I pieced together this quick clip with some of my pulls from yesterday. Now that I have come out of a mini-cut and am eating tons of carbs 😍 my strength in my compound lifts has been improving tremendously. Sometimes you need to give your body a pretty substantial amount of food to say "Hey! We might be small but we're about to pick up some heavy stuff today!" Nutrition has such an impact on training and I've decided it's time to grow and really make some gains 💪🏼🌱 Whatever your goals may be, try changing things up and it might surprise you to discover that your goals, or your approach to those goals may need to change! 💞

My Weight Gain - 💪🏻🤗 . It's scary to know that the left was me this time last year. This was during a phase where my diet only consisted of spinach day in and day out...PLAIN. I would bring a whole bag to class to snack on when I was hungry. I was petrified of gaining weight for my prom/graduation. Everyday my friends would yell at me for my extreme eating habits (y'all are real), yet I continued to cut out everything in my diet except veggies; thinking this was the fastest way to lose weight. I was still weight training during this time which is a very ill-thought-out idea since I never had energy from my dumbass diet lol. I developed some health issues from this so I discontinued it soon after. Glad I grew out of it and now find pleasure in training hard so I can eat even more 😉 .  103➡️117 . If you are looking to lose weight, I suggest using a tracking app. I use MyFitnessPal. Deadlifts are up first, and they felt super good so I thought I'd share my current numbers! My current max is 340 lbs, which is better than ever with correct form. Previously I was able to do 405, but my form was off so I don't count it. I can feel the gains coming already, and my vertical is coming back! Break the bodyweight movements so you can move with minimum breaks. After you have finished your air squats take 1-2 minutes time to rest before you start your first deadlift. 2-3 attempts should be enough. Desayuno 🤗 un pomelo, té verde, un poco de los hot cakes de ayer y dos  MUFFINS DE LIMÓN 🍋 🍋 Licuá una taza de avena instantánea extrafina, dos claras, edulcorante, un chorrito de leche descremada, la ralladura de un limón junto con su jugo exprimido y una cucharadita de polvo de hornear (yo no tenía y por eso quedaron chatitos y como dos en vez de uno). Pone la mezcla en los moldes de muffins previamente engrasados con fritolín y manda al horno bajo hasta que metas un palito y salga seco.  A los que les gusta el limón les van a encantarrrrr estos muffins. And no, you aren't going to lift heavy weights and wake up one day and be like "omg, my muscles are WAY too huge!" • • Building muscle takes time, and 3 lb dumbbell curls are never going to get you the "toned" look that you desire.
