Day 14/21 ✔️ ---------------------------------------------- Small, positive changes + time= wonderful things coming your way One thing that popped out at me while reading this morning was this. We get so pumped up to start new things, however when we don't see results right away we just give up. Understand that you won't see results right away. However, those small wonderful changes that you are doing will show up. It might take a month, or maybe longer. Your hard work WILL pay off in the long run. Don't give up! 💜🌞
This morning I logged into my #beachbodyondemand account for the first time in MONTHS and did some Country Heat. (I used to be a coach. Yes I know what its about and no I don't want to become a coach again.) But holy balls; I forgot how good it felt to just dance around and sweat like crazy! I definitely missed these videos and I just can't wait to get myself back to normal. On a normal meal prep (low carb, high fat) and start using these videos and going to the gym regularly again. I enjoy both sides, working out from home AND lifting weights at the gym. Happiness is all around for me. I'm glad I found myself again. One of my favorite ways to add movement these days is simply to show up to your destination 10-15 mins early, then go for a quick walk. I like to walk away from the building for 5 minutes and 5 minutes back. This is especially handy before a workout when you're already dressed in gym clothes! And as a bonus, the drive over will be much less stressful because you're running early!

The key to overpowering ED thoughts, is to simply recognize it as ED and then keep doing what you've been doing. Muffins have been a new favorite breakfast of mine. No way in hell should I give that up now that the warm weather is almost here. With spring break and summer approaching (a time others use as diet-season), this is a time for ME to reinforce what I preach and what I've learned. Reminding myself that self-love and body-acceptance is a year round attitude-it doesn't change with the season. Vacation and bikinis should not=adjusting my diet. My sister bought me a muffin the morning we are leaving for Florida😊☀️..and it's a reminder of how strong I am and and how far I've come
Banana peanut butter chocolate chip waffle with real maple syrup and whipped topping 🙌 It has calories and fat and sugar AND I'm just enjoying it as is. No guilt. No binging later because of my waffle choice. A breakfast like this used to set my day as "it's ruined" so you might as well pig out on everything else all day and then feel like total crap mentally, physically and emotionally later. Eating food should Not give us feelings of guilt and shame. Today I eat a loaded waffle in enjoyment and love. That's all. #sundaybrunch

Here's the deal... I've scrolled through all of my social media accounts the last few days and I've easily seen 20+ posts from various companies promoting weight loss. The last thing we need are more weight loss systems, weight loss products, or weight loss companies. We need a GET WELL system. Weight is NOT the problem. The underlying cause of what is triggering the excess weight and so many other common ailments IS the issue. After getting multiple handfuls of fries and ordering a chicken kebab without modifications, my boyfriend was very surprised-in a good way! He joked that he doesn't even know who I am anymore🤣 before, I wouldn't have ever gotten a bagel sandwich this morning then this for lunch. Now, this is not my everyday and I want to be full and not hangry while traveling! Ps:we made it safe and sound to Iceland and will be eating more fish in the near future I'm sure🙃🙃
Friday and Saturday nights this mama can clean up rather well..but this was my face this morning! I posted this in our accountability group as a joke, to prove we all need to dress up like rockstars every once in a while, but I thought I'd take it here to show you that I don't always have it together. It was even worse before I started to get healthy. The depression of being obese and missing out on adventures with the kids seeped it's way into other parts of my life. 😮There were times I probably didn't brush my hair for days 💄Didn't wash my face (cause let's face it, I wasn't even wearing make up, so no point) 🐮I'd hide in moomoo-esque shirts in the summer Now that I think about it, I was hiding in plain sight by trying to blend into the background. Sad really, because I knew I had a lot to offer. Glad those days are gone, but for some they are still a reality. So let's chat so we can let your light shine bright! Until then, this tired mom is going to get her Pre workout drink down and hammer out day 26!!!

My brother told me to always remember to balance life with play , with work, and with relaxation. Always take the time to make sure you remain humble. you don't always have to climb the entire ladder , just focus on the next rung. ⛰🌊🌞

I'm an aunt! ❤️ After almost 7 and 1/2 hours waiting in the hospital for this little nugget to arrive and he is finally here! Meet Brady everyone. 💙I balled my eyes out when I saw my sister and this bundle of cuteness. So proud of my sister and soon to be brother in law for how strong and supportive to each other they have been through the 72 hours before he arrived. Everyone is calling my sister super woman and she totally is. Everyone is happy + healthy. I'm totally obsessed. Brady, I'm gonna spoil you silly, cutie pie 👶🏻
