New recipe👇Cheesecake slices with forest fruit - tasty and healthy creamy dessert. Ingredients for the crust: • 40 g butter • 120g ground almonds • 20 g shredded coconut • pinch of salt Ingredients for the cheesecake layer: • 200 g of cream cheese • 250g Greek yoghurt • 70 g heavy whipping cream • 25 g protein powder (I used vanilla flavor) • 2 tsp SugarSweet stevia (1:10) • 1 tsp vanilla essence • 150 g of forest fruit • 5 sheets of gelatin Directions: Firstly make the crust. Melt the butter and mix it with other ingredients for the crust. Line the baking dish (mine was about 15x25cm) with baking paper. Spread the mixture evenly in the tin and press tightly against the bottom. Bake in the preheated oven at 160°C for about 10 minutes. Then prepare the cheesecake layer. If you use fresh berries chop them into smaller pieces. However, if you use frozen, they must first be well thawed, so it will not leave any excess water. Drain well and chop them into smaller pieces. With a hand mixer mix cream cheese, Greek yogurt, protein, sweetener and vanilla essence until smooth. In another bowl, whip heavy whipping cream and mix it in in the first bowl. Gently stir in the berries. Then prepare gelatine according to the instructions and mix it in the cheesecake mixture. Pour it into the baking dish and place in refrigerator overnight. Before serving, crumb a few Cavalier cookies and sprinkle them over the top. Cut into slices and serve. Store in a refrigerator. #cheesecake#bars#dessert#food#healthyfood#foodporn#foodheaven#foodstagram#lchf#healthy#amazing#recipe#keto#healthspo#fit#fitfood#fitfam#hflc#cleaneating#cleaneats#gloobyfood#f52grams#healthylifestyle#healthychoices#girlgains#eatclean#lowcarb @thefeedfeed @thefeedfeed.chocolate
Counting calories will only lead to an obsessive and unhealthy relationship with food. I know that when I used to count calories my whole thoughts were consumed by being under a certain amount of calories that day. Now I focus on making sure I get my greens in and really listening to my body and whether it is hungry or emotionally hungry. I'm still learning but slowly getting more in touch with my body. ❤
Monday always come around sooo quickly 🙅🏼but back on plan today after a weekend of alcohol and far too much food! 👀 I'm in uni today 9/5 with 7 hours worth of lectures 😐😂 hope everyone has a good day ✨👍🏼
Spent yesterday afternoon creating this salmon with ginger soy dressing recipe for the new BioRevive Osteoarthritis website! Salmon is full of healthy omega-3 fats 🐟, which is great for managing inflammation. Studies also show that omega-3 fatty acids are great for our heart, brain function and general well-being! Try and aim for two to three fish meals per week. Make sure you keep an eye out for this recipe, I'll be on the the new BioRevive website at the beginning of March 😁✌️

Sunflower seed sprouts are truly little powerhouses on their own! 🌻 Loaded with zinc which is good for a healthy skin and reproductive system, (especially sperm development 🐟) In Ayurveda, they are known to be an excellent lung cleanser, used as a preventative measure even. Sunflower seed sprouts are also an excellent source of protein 💪🏼 Top them on your salads, throw them in smoothies, cram them in sandwiches. Best part is, you can grow them yourself! 🌻🌱🌻🌱🌻 This green machine meal consists of: Sticky BBQ tofu with steamed brocollini, snap peas, kale, brown rice and chia seeds topped with sunflower seed sprouts.
✨ Once you understand your flaws you can love them. When you can understand your flaws, no one can use them against you. This is when you realize why imperfect is spelled "I'm perfect" ✨ •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Really not this pretty today as here (Saturday) 😂 This weekends cheatday got me bloated AF... It's all water though & will be gone in like 6 days, but I feel like a ball atm ⚾🏀🏐 Two weeks are done cutting & I've lost 4 kg. Proud but not satisfied 🙌🏻❤️
hey loves 🌞 i just wanted to remind you that you're all a unique gift on this earth🌿 this thought resonated with me throughout my journey in Vietnam. i learnt how a group of young boy orphans can befit from us just spending time with them. i will always treasure the time we spent painting and repairing their living space - with the smiles it brought to their faces. even though we could not directly communicate with words, we were about to laugh and learn from each other. ✨ sharing meals and watching them all care for each other by passing the food prepared to one another. each one of these boys i was able to spend time with- is a unique gift on this earth- this experience did change the way i view my life on this earth🌏& i will be forever grateful for this experience m x
👜 Handbag or health ? 👜 If I could have both, I would. ☺️ I love a bag. If I had to choose, I'd pick health. Many women say to me they can't afford to pay for organic food, therapies, classes, courses or coaching. And I understand that everyone's funds are different and everyone has different commitments. I speak for myself. But I can't afford NOT to invest in my diet and wellbeing. They are an investment in me. My health is important. I have this one body. I want to take care of it as best I can, for as long as I can. And I forego other things - life's luxuries if you like - to make them a higher priority. When I'm below par, I make an even bigger investment. Of my money AND my time. Love, Kathy x 💕

Another day in jungle paradise 😱🌴🌺✨ 5 days in on vegan, raw and organic foods plus a whole medley of detoxing and skin soothing all natural treatments and I've decided to start day 1 of my juice cleanse. I'm aiming for their minimum of 3 days. 👅🦋 wish me luck! 😂 it won't be my first time but juicing is a great way to give your digestive system a really good rest. We spend so much energy on digesting food and when we fast that energy then goes to healing our body and organs. 🙏🏼💜Juicing is also a great way to quickly deliver nutrients to the body that are necessary for the proper functioning of our everyday physiological processes. A few tips ✨👉🏼 always prep the body with a healthy diet for at least 2 weeks before beginning a juice cleanse to lessen detox symptoms such as headaches, nausea, fever 👉🏼 juicing is great for detoxing our organs but those toxins need a place to go so elimination is very important. We eliminate waste mostly through bowel movements, urination, sweat. Taking psyllium husk fibre at night with bentonite clay in one of your juices is a great way to get the toxins moving out your body. 🌴✨🌺🙏🏼🌿✨ if you have any questions on juicing feel free to ask me and I'll answer them down below 😊👇🏼💜
know what calls on a 35°C day? cherry ripe nice cream 🍒🍫😍 especially if you have an overabundance of fresh cherries (aka 5kg) that need to be eaten stat // simply blend desired amount of nanas, a couple of handfuls of pitted cherries, tsp coconut oil & shredded coconut then top with cacao sauce and of course, extra coconut and cherries + anything else you want (hint: @flaxfarmsaustralia protein mix) 😸
Sunday night goodness. Pre baked sweet potato slices, avo with hemp seeds, and two crispy runny fried eggs. Added himalayan pink salt, lots of black pepper, and a bottle of @gtskombucha on the side because it was a stressful mum day and it was either a bottle of kombucha or five bars of chocolate. 😏 #breakfastfordinner
