Morning sun on my morning walk... every morning I go for a 30minute walk as the sun comes up ☀️ I do this before I check my phone or emails, before I turn on any radios or news. It's just me and my thoughts. More importantly, I aim to get as much sunlight exposure on my skin and in my eyes 👀 to reset my circadian clock for another day. In turn this light signals to my body it's the start of a new day, it's time to eat, more, reproduce and play... triggering a cascade of hormones and cycles within my body 👌🏼 this is how I start my days - rain hail or shine! Home! The suitcases are unpacked and the fridge is stocked, and after a mad power struggle between "happily awake" and "but let me sleeeeeeep" that lasted for much of the afternoon (after only sleeping for about 5 broken hours in 20 hours of flying time), I made it to 5pm before giving up. 😴 I've had a power nap and now that my eyelids are no longer full of lead, I plan to catch up on Suits (Season 7, omg!) before dinner and what I hope is a brilliant sleep. I am back into it this week, and step one is a mega proofread of my new book; one step closer to having the finished copy on the shelves and in your hands! 😍📚😝

That feeling at the end of the day... Anybody else 😅😂 Want to know something crazy... I've had so much going in my head... I actually gave myself a temperature 😳 now that is what I call overheating the brain 😵😵 not ideal haha . So, The way I deal with a busy mind is to get that sh*t out!!! 📝Write your to-do list! Not on your phone, but with pen and paper 😱 whaaaat?! The feeling of putting pen to paper is a huge release from the brain physically and mentally 😌 . Second, get a piece of paper, set a timer for 2 minutes, and write. Everything. I mean everything that comes to mind. Chicken, duck, paper, pimple... just continually write for the whole 2 minutes. It is so refreshing when you finish. At first you don't think you'll have anything but as long as you keep the momentum of writing flowing, it's like word vomit 😂😂 . Now that we have our sh*t sorted we can sleep peacefully with out a busy mind 😌 give these a try next time all your tabs are open and you can relax! 👍🏼 . Give it a try for a peaceful night sleep 😘

I always carry a bottle of water with me, whenever I leave the house. It ensures regular hydration, & saves me from the risk of drinking unsafe water, in case I get thirsty, on my way. Carrying drinking water in plastic bottles is a big NO. These bottles are usually made of polycarbonate, which, upon heat exposure or repeated usage, leaches out a chemical (xenohormone) into the water. This chemical interferes with the hormone balance of the human body, & may even be carcinogenic. The hubby gave me this candle a while back, it came along with a beautiful fancy rose he'd gotten me and I don't even know if he knew what the candle had written on it to be honest but I'm so grateful it found it's way to me. I have it on my desk and serves as an anchor for myself. When your dreams don't scare you/challenge you, they're not big enough.
