The BEST breakfast of my life!!!! No, seriously 😳. I didn't think I liked croissants, but apparently I love legit ones ☺️. If you're ever in #rome you MUST come to Santeo!  Our favorite things were the prosciutto and brie croissant (warm bread from the oven 🤤), the brownie & the cannolini.  A huge thanks to Justin's friend, Brandon, for recommending this gem!!! . Now off on a day of sightseeing to walk it all off 😉!

Feeling really dehydrated this morning so starting the day with a raspberry smoothie bowl topped with homemade granola, flaked almonds & cacao nibs 😍 with so many new healthy superfoods I sometimes feel we can sometimes forget the original beautiful healthy foods like raspberries which are definitely a super food too and are absolutely amazing for your vitamin intake - eating just one cup of raspberries provides over 50% of your vitamin C intake so in a big bowl like this I've already got my daily needs done! Have a lovely day 💕  RECIPE 1 banana, 1.5 cups of raspberries, 1 cup of almond milk, handful ice, 1 tbsp @pipandnut, 2 tbsp @abbot_kinneys coconut yoghurt - put all into a blender and top with 0.5 cups of raspberries, cacao nibs & granola!

This mornings nurtibullet smoothie contains: 1 handful of kale, 1 stick of celery, 1/6th of a cucumber, 1/3rd of a lime, 1/3rd of an apple and a handful of mixed berries. I tend to make a batch of 6 smoothies and freeze them for the week ahead. All I have to do is add water or almond milk and I am good to go. Girl gang ♡  So as you guys know, I had an amazing workout with @fiiiissoooo yesterday (she's a beeeast and total goals for me 🙈💕) and if you guys are looking for an awesome cardio workout, definitely try this :  10 Burpees to pull-up / chin ups  45 cal row 1500 M run  30 cal row 1000 M run  15 cal row  500 M run  10 Burpees to pull-up / chin ups  And trust me this SLAYS. It took the both of us about 28 minutes to complete it, and beforehand we both did some weight lifting. Such a gorgeous morning at @thenaturalnutritionist book launch for 'The Real Food Athlete' 👟 We completed a quiz to determine the type of athlete we were- mine came out as a YOGI haha surprise surprise 😊 I was chatting with the lovely person next to me who also gained the same results and we were saying how we probably could have ticked most boxes on every question 😆 The reason why?  We both loved incorporating a holistic approach to our fitness routine with a bit of everything in it (high intensity, stretch, strength & low intensity). A balanced lifestyle = 'working in', 'working out', whole food nourishment adapted to your individual body type & needs and routines + activities that set our soul on fire ✨🙏 I love how Steph mentions 'We are all athletes'. 👊 So go out there and move your body with love xx

When you accidentally match your water bottle. 😂😂😂 What can I say? I love pineapples! 💛🍍💛I didn't end up getting back to the gym tonight (no 2-a-day for me!) because I spent some much needed time with a dear friend. 👩🏻☕️☕️👩🏼 Earlier today I challenged you to ask yourself what makes your soul happy. ☀️💜 (If you haven't taken the challenge yet, its never too late to ask yourself that question!) Spending time with people I love makes my soul happy. 😊💕 So that's what I did. Raise your hand if you leave the gym right after you workout 🙋🏽🙈 Welllll, you're doing yourself more harm than good! Why?! Because after EVERY workout you gotta get into the habit of cooling down and stretching. ⠀ ⠀ What is that you say? "It's too much of a bother to stay an extra 5-10 mins just to stretch? Isn't that just for people who want to be flexible? Or do yoga?" ⠀ ⠀ Nah. People. Nah. Stretching after every workout benefits you in TWO major ways. ⠀ ⠀ 1. It keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. ⠀ ⠀ 2. Ever feel super sore after your workouts? Taking 5-10 mins after can decrease your chances of feeling that after workout fatigue and soreness. ⠀ ⠀ Plus, who wants to be 50 years old struggling to walk up a flight of stairs because your range of motion is limited and your joints are too stiff? All the heavy lifting and #yoga lately and my body is loving it. See those baby #abs popping? I still have lose skin, but slowly they are making a comeback. I stopped eating cake and ice cream every night and it's made all the difference! No surprise there of course, but mentally I'm feeling better too. (Not as reactive since being off refined sugar) of course I have my bad days, like yesterday, but I'm happy to report I'm on top of my mental health and anxiety and look forward to meeting with a therapist each week. Now, it's time to train those legs and go running. 💪🏽Full outfit is from @athleta #powerofshe
