The prototype @gracehleung smashing 20 reps of standing double rack kettle bell press. Watch how as she fatigue's around rep 11 and switches to the push press. Grace has probably the best push press from a technique standpoint of all my clients. Watch as the hips shift backwards and the knees don't travel past the toes. This is so important from a safety standpoint. This followed 3 sets of 20 rep speed squats and banded chin ups. Patience & consistency are key to making progress with your fitness, mental health or any other goal you set for yourself in life. There will be days you find the breakdowns and low feelings last longer than average, that's normal and DO NOT consider that a failure and a sign to quit. This is just another hurdle to overcome. This is what we are here for to remind you that you can do this on those days when you can't seem to find your way out of a particular mood. Success is not a straight line up, it looks more like a squiggly like with twists, turns, various dips. These unexpected turns that life takes are where we learn the most about ourselves and then in turn the situation we are in so that we learn how to take the next couple of steps forward. That is patience, that is consistency, constantly learning and adapting as you venture towards where you want to be. Worry not how long it takes you or how long it takes others. We are all different, advancing at different paces. Are those baby quads I see 👀 I'm really loving this bulking phase! I think I'm going to do it for 3 more months then cut for the summer. Good thing I shed weight really easy because putting on these gains is HARD work.
