Day 22 of my 60 day reboot. I feel like the next 20 days or so are going to be boring. The excitement has worn off. The changes are slow and the finish line is still miles away. So it's important during these time that I remember what I am working towards. This pic right here was taken a year before Heidi was born. I have learned so much on my journey since becoming a Team Beachbody Coach. One of those things is that not everyone is going to support you the way you expect them to. Some times the ones closest to us are the biggest skeptics. Whether it stems from jealousy, fear of change, or a reflection of self doubt, you will become the recipient of negative comments and speculation. Any time you go above and beyond to make yourself and your life better, it makes people step back and take a look in the mirror. Maybe they don't like what they see so they try to bring you down to their level but that's when you step up and push even harder! Just remember, this is YOUR journey, not theirs so you keep doing you and don't give up!
Hump day eats! 🐪 I may not be able to control the fact that I can't workout, but what I CAN control right now is what I put into my body! Breakfast was two eggs with a heaping serving of kale. 🍃🍃🍃 I've been slackin' on getting those greens in lately, so I made sure I started my morning off with a crap ton. 🙌 . Ortho appointment at 1! Hoping for some answers today & that this isn't just an appointment to make an appointment to come back for a follow up appointment. 🤣 You know how those things go! On the bright side- my shoulder feels about the same as it did yesterday- still hurts, but it hasn't gotten any worse! So that's good. I've also backed off on the muscle relaxers. I don't like how they make me feel (drugged out), so I'm just going to see if I can make it without them. . Have a great day, everyone! 🙋🏻

Unicorn blood 💕🦄 ... just kidding- preworkout got me feelin' some kinda way 😜 . . . I pour my preworkout 30-45 minutes before I'm planning on working out and sip it slowly. Sometimes I read during that time, fold laundry, grade papers...whatever, but its like my peaceful time before crushing a workout! Plus, multitasking is important 😂
First time since before pregnancy I've managed to get my 5k back under 30mins. Only 4 seconds under like but still! Hard work is paying off. Feeling pretty chuffed I'm not winning any races or back at my fastest but I'm getting there 😊
After I finish at the gym I have to drive past a McDonalds to get home. It really tests your willpower, let me tell you 😂 I had to do a food shop after the gym and by the time I got home I was starving! I'd just bought some sausages (the healthiest ones I could. Almost pure pork, gluten free, no junk) and thought I'd have a go at a breakfast wrap sans the hash brown! Yum 😊 Not the healthiest meal ever but a damn sight better than an actual McDonalds! Gluten and wheat free wraps 😊

So I went and spoiled myself a little bit today! I went out and decided to get myself a Fitbit! Ever since my stomach problems started, I had to cancel my gym membership, stop playing Just Dance and Zumba on the Wii, and other activities that I absolutely loved. Well, I decided for 2017 that I am going to get back to doing the things I loved! I'm ready to put away the junk food, and to start exercising again! 💪And this little gadget is going to help me keep motivated in helping me reach those goals!!
