2.27.17: --- I am so glad today is over with. Work was super busy I walked 5 miles before leaving the day. However, I had a great work out! I forgot to do ABs, and there was only one machine I didn't complete. Today was supposed to be back day with some triceps. I made it through single arm rows and burpees. I headed to deadlifts. My lower back said no thanks. Tried to move to mountain climbers and could hear my back pop every time my legs went forward and back. Back day ended real quick! Did some cobra stretches to put my spine back in line and switched up to bicep and tricep day. Finished off with some battle ropes for my cardio. Moral of the story....listen to your body! Had I continued with deadlifts I would have strained my back and been done working out for a few weeks. Dinner time and bed time....good night ya'll!
The first step to success is keeping the word "can't" from your vocabulary. We teach our kids, they aren't allowed to say "can't". If you don't at least try, you'll never know whether you can or "can't". So you have to at least give it your best shot! And with anything if you put your mind to it, you can do it. Your body is an amazing machine, it can do anything, you just have to believe it. I got up at 4 am this morning. And I went to the gym...did I want to? No. Honestly. I did not want to get up that early and go to the gym, but I knew I wouldn't get to the gym any other time today. So I did it. I have a goal, get to the gym every day for the next 60 days and get to the finish line of my weight loss journey. And begin the lifestyle of maintaining a healthy and strong body.
