But to those who truly wish to maximise their results and especially for those with competitive aspirations, make sure to leave no stone unturned when it comes to your own progress. I’m not recommending you obsess over minutiae but understanding the role of certain minutiae in your progress is going to be incredibly important.

Heavy singles with all three lifts on my last training week before the meet next weekend. Got 195 on Squat, 115 on Bench (4kg PR), and 220 on Deadlift for a 530 total at 80kg bodyweight. They all went really smooth and felt more comfortable than I expected. I'm confident to get some big numbers when I get on the platform on the 29th. #11daysout#GBPF

Two lift session today! Did bench after squats but my phone ran out of battery because I was at gym so long so didn't get any footage, managed to sweat my cold off though😏You'll have to take my word for it I promise I did 140kg for 8 6 6 6👀Benching with no pain which I'm really happy about given I haven't been able to properly for about a month! Did 3 sets of 8 at 250kg on squats. Doing squads reminded me why I shouldn't squat into mirrors as I can't gage depth very well then without one. Blocked the mirror off today and these all felt really good. Last prep was 232.5kg for sets of 8 which lead to a 320.5kg squat.. really looking forward to testing this!😎 @sbdapparel
