I'm a morning person, so although I'm having my dear friend over and we went to bed at the same time, I woke up hours ago. Quinoa and Chia Porridge with banana and blackberry sorbet💕 Perfect for winter mornings and I like it as a desert as well. It's delish. 😘 1 cup uncooked quinoa. 3 tablespoons chia seeds 1 cup milk if your choice. I use lactose free. 1 cup water 3 tablespoons raw 🍯 honey 1 tablespoon #coconutoil In a saucepan mix quinoa and chia. Add milk, water , honey and oil ; bring to boil then turn heat down and allow the mixture to simmer until most of the liquid had evaporated. - leave the saucepan lid on and stir occasionally. - approx 20 mins. Once quinoa is plump, porridge is ready. Pour into bowls. Remember to keep portions small. Quinoa and chia have a high nutritional content as opposed to oats. A small bowl of quinoa porridge is going to fill you up 🤗 Serve with fruits and milk. Drizzle with more honey if needed ... but it ought to be sweet enough 😃 Enjoy. 🌱 Vegan Breakfast 🙋 When comes noon and I choose to have "breakfast over lunch" (aka sweet lunch or breakfast for lunch 😜) it's always epic! 😂 This is a plate of leftover brown rice 🍚 (cold) covered with unsweetened vanilla cashew milk • cinnamon • banana 🍌 • blueberries • nectarines 🍑 • soy flakes • shredded coconut • tahini 😍 • kasha (roasted buckwheat) • more cinnamon 🙌 This breakfast ... Oh my! 🙏 Usually I use oats but for some reason I wanted to try on cold brown rice and it was amazing 👌 Keeps you full until dinner easily! What's your favorite breakfast combo? 😊

Healthy; easy, gluten free and low sugar fudgey brownies, in a blender AND all in under one hour😋 What more could you want? Recipe below! ---------- - 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed - 2 eggs (sub flax eggs for vegan) - 1/3 cup maple syrup - 1 cup water - 1/4 cup coconut flour - 1 cup almond meal - 1/3 cup cocoa powder - 1 tsp baking powder - Pinch of salt ---------- - Combine ingredients in a blender - Blend until smooth - Pour into lined or greased baking dish - Bake for 35-45 minutes at 180c or 360f - Enjoy warm or leave to firm up in the fridge
