Sweet potato falafel salad with caramelized onion and hummus 👌👌 Falafels are based of @lazycatkitchen recipe in her recent post. They were so easy and yummy. Definitely recommend giving them a go 😊 ___________ #gettoknowyoujanuary I'm that boring person who doesnt drink tea or coffee, or much other than water. Tea, I just don't enjoy, I try it every now and then to see if somehow I've miraculously started to like it, still dont. Coffee, I do like enough but I seem to be an all or nothing person with it and I have learnt that nothing is much better for you. I hated coffee until I was in uni when I started drinking it like it was liquid sleep and downed way too many cups each day (along with a generally unhealthy, yucky student diet and lifestyle). Eventually I got so run down that I couldn't even stay awake to study for an exam and would literally fall asleep at my desk constantly. After that I spent a week catching up on sleep and then decided to treat my body better including to stop drinking coffee and have hardly touched it since. I know coffee isn't the worst thing, and a cup a day would be perfectly fine, I just don't even think to drink it at home anymore and that's fine with me 😊 If I'm out for 'coffee' I usually get a chai latte, otherwise most of the time I just drink water. What is your go-to drink?

🍲 Noodle Bowls 🍲 with Mushroom Broth and Baby Kale For the broth I used 32 oz veggie stock, one small thinly sliced onion, 8oz very thinly sliced baby Bella mushrooms, 1 inch peeled fresh ginger, 1tspn minced garlic, and several tblspns coconut aminos. •• WHAT'S YOUR THING? •• • It'a the start of 2017. Yet in some ways it feels like we are still living in the past. A past where there isn't enough love. Where people are ignorant. Where that ignorance causes pain and suffering to other people, to animals and the earth. There are terrible things happening all over the world and though we can't always help it directly, it would be great if everyone had something they were passionate about, that they would do to help our planet be a better place to live in. • What's my thing? I'm all for saving the animals, the earth and other people. Living in a modern society means my options are always going to be destructive - so we pick the least destructive option. If I want to grow old in this world, if I want to have a family and have kids, I need to make sure I'm doing my best to give them and myself the best life we can possibly have. After all, I don't wanna have kids in a world that doesn't show love to it's planet or it's neighbours. That's why being vegan is my thing. • Some people wanna save animals, some wanna save women, some fight for the rights of children or labour or the environment.
