Today I went to the gym today for the first time since March 11th! 😂 I didn't know that it had been that long until I looked at my last fitness related post. I've been moving for what seems like an eternity so that was my main focus. I've been tracking my macros on some days and other days either intuitive eating or stuffing my face with lots of food. Also, if you watched my story today you would've seen that 1) I had a job interview this morning and 2) I'm really weird 😆 The interview went well so I'm crossing my fingers I get it🤞🏼 And me being a strange human being, well cross your fingers I make it through life 💁🏼

What is an obstacle? By definition it is an item that hinders or obstructs progression. But what is your definition of an obstacle? I see obstacles as a challenge ahead that is only going to accelerate my progression once the obstacle is defeated. We must approach obstacles as an item that can be surpassed, as we do not want them to linger around and cause an interruption from our focus. This unassuming little red silicone "bowl" is my new favorite toy. It's a microwave popcorn popper. Put some kernels in it, add oil/butter/ghee (or don't), cover, and cook for about 3 minutes. Quick and easy way to get my popcorn on. 🍿🍿 The hubs and I tried it out multiple times this weekend (using ghee and topping it with some Himalayan pink salt). 😇 Yum!
Food is fuel..this journey will not work if your eating habits don't change don't get me wrong I have my treat days but when I am in my zone and I want to see results I buckle down do all my meal prep for the week and the outcome everyday is what you see in the pic..I find writing my stuff down has really helped me stay on track and taking pics of my food also helps..day one of hell week started off great my legs are on fire..tomorrow is resistance 1 and special ops resistance so I hope these old legs hold up in the morning..time for some much needed relaxation then back to the grind in the am...
Its incredible to think that just 4 short months ago my sweet girl and me were still one. The anticipation I felt on this day as I was heading into the last few weeks of pregnancy were overwheling. So much love for my daughter and excitement already existed before we had ever met. A woman's body is an INCREDIBLE thing. If you are a women you are a WARRIOR, EVERY part of you was created with purpose. Lovin' my new @oldnavy high-waisted compression leggings! Today was legggg day! The bestest day of the week 🥇but listen up kids - although these are definitely squat proof, they are notttttt sweat proof 🙈🙊 but who cares...let it all show! Anyways, today's workout: ALL SUPERSETS 🖤Leg press machine 🖤Hip thrusts on leg press machine (see @cristinacapron for a time saving technique! I'm obsessed with it!) ❤️Leg press ❤️Static double pulse squats 💙Walking lunges 💙Calf raises 💙Box jump w/ Burpee I was able to squeeze in 4 sets, increasing weight each time and completing between 10-15 reps during each set. I know this isn't specific but the reality is that you need to tailor this to your body because we're all different 💁🏻☺️🙌🏻
