Sometimes you just gotta get up and get moving before your brain can get in to gear. Don't over complicate it! If you have a spare 30mins, hell even 10mins, put your shoes on and walk out the door and just keep walking! The aim of the game is just to move your body more, it doesn't matter how you move it, just that you do!

Felt the best glute pump tonight! 🍑🍑 I really tried activating my glutes before and during the rest times of every leg exercise I did tonight. I was definitely exhausted considering I'm for sure coming down with a cold but I'm just glad I got it done!! The glute activation routine that was done as a warm-up and during rest times were standard glute bridges, single leg glute bridges, donkey kicks with no weight, fire hydrants, and then hip circles (which is just a combo of donkey-kicks and fire hydrants). Exercises done tonight were: - Squats w/ lite weight 4 of 12 - Smith-Machine kick-backs 4 of 10 per leg - Heavy barbell hip thrusts 4 of 10 - Cable front squats superset w/ RDL's 3 of 10 each - Cable deadlift superset w/ RDL's 3 of 10 each - Hamstring stability ball curl 3 of 10 Then ended with another round of glute activation routine as a burn out. Most of the time we overlook the REST component in our workout program. Why is it so important? While you’re RESTing, your body begins working on rebuilding those muscle fibers that you work so hard in the gym destroying. You will only achieve the desired effects if you allow for adequate REST.

It's what I call 3-Way Burner🔥 This exercise forces you to focus on maintaining and isometric contraction of the upper abs AND lower abs while performing three leg movements keeping your heels off the ground OUCH! This exercise is excellent to activate all of the stabilizing muscles in your abdominal wall. It requires a lot of control, core strength and balance and is a bit harder than it looks. I'm excited to have my clients try this bad boy.

Great leg day with back squat, lunges, leg extensions, leg curls and of course calves. The calf pump was nice so of course I had to take a picture like the tool I am! Also no calf emoji so I gotta go with the full blown cow. 🐄😂
