Dinner was the same as the other day as it's almost payday and I'm trying to use up what I have in the house! Chicken bites, 1/4 tin of spaghetti hoops and 1/2 a potato cut into chips (442 cals) ✨ lovely!
First run in seven months. Yesterday I went to the orthopedic surgeon for a six month check up. Even though my knee feels mostly better he told me I would eventually need it replaced. Then he said it would last longer if I wore a brace. I told him my gp told me that would make the rest of my leg weaker. The orthopedist changed his words and said. Yeah, well wear it sometimes. Seven months ago he told me my running days were over. I didn't tell him that my GP had rolled her eyes at that and said eventually I would be able to jog with arthritis. Still I was scared to do it. Yesterday as I sat there in his offIce listening to him treat me as if I was 72 years old I thought if I'm going to have to have my knee replaced anyway, why am I not running on it while it still lasts? This is dumb waiting for the inevitable and not living in the meantime. So this morning I ran 1.5 after stretching a lot. And I will go home and ice it. Use it while I still can instead of acting like it's already gone. It felt good... and there are a lot more women out on the streets in stretchy pants than when I stopped 😬 #transformation#fitnessjourney#fitness#arthritis#jogging#beautifulday#live#exercise
