It was leg day so I did some #liss, deadlifts, squats, leg presses, jump squats and dips. I also hung from the pull up bar again and felt surprised by how long I could stay on. Progress people! At the resting position you almost want the bar touching your shin and resting above the middle of your foot.  I take in a few deep breathes and make my torso feel sturdy and strong, raise my chest, bring back my shoulders a bit, lock my Lats (back muscles) back and down (like putting them into my pocket). I brace with my breath, shoot my hips up and then spring them down. Dragging the bar against my shins, bringing my hips into the bar and squeezing my glutes. I honestly did these just so I could feel taller ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ seriously I got kinda nervous being that far off the ground. #shortgirlproblems but on a serious note I've noticed how much stronger physically I've gotten not based off of training but because mentally I stopped telling myself you can't do that. I've replaced my "that's too heavy" mindset with an if I fail it's no big deal just try again. Failure is not something to fear, it's a lesson that sometimes needs to be there. The perfectionist in me is slowly starting to fade and I'm learning that being me and not being able to do things is okay as long as I try but I'm done letting fear of failure hold me back. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿฝ

I have a love hate relationship with social media (ironic that I want to grow an online business) and get too caught up with posting EVERYTHING then wanting to post nothing I forget that sharing the journey and enjoying what you're doing is key, I also get discouraged when my lifting sucks or feels off and that affects other parts of my life. I've been debating a lot lately, but I'm leaning towards finally getting some lifting shoes. I'm looking to do more research, but from what I've heard, Nike makes an awesome pair of shoes. These right here are beautiful. They go with the Razorback color scheme, which is a big plus for me. Anyone have any input on the subject?

This for me is one of the biggest challenges I have set myself. I had kind of accepted having small calves and legs but I'm done with that.  I was super lucky to train legs with and get some advice on how to get big bigger legs from @nealecranwell . I barely survived that session but it's straight back to it  @krunchgym.
