😇"Drop Kick Me Jesus" isn't the mouth-puckering punch in the face you'd imagine. This super lovely sour from @tempestbrewingco is earthy and mellow, but with a tartness that still makes for a zesty drinking experience. Orange peel and grapefruit, and just a little bit herby. Очень вкусно!!
Great day by the seaside drinking @harveysbrewery Best at the Old Neptune Whistable. This cozy, seaside boozer is located directly on the beach which is a perfect place to plant my fluffy tush and get my tan on! The inside is bright and busy with tourists but its the wooden exterior, with it's storm battered boarding, that gives the pub it's true character. More pictures to come of our adventures in this cute little town. Oh I do like to be beside the seaside.....
Roasted malts give a slightly sweet flavour to this sensational imperial stout. Rich dark chocolate notes give the beer a strong but smooth taste. Comes on slow like a steamroller but hits just as heavily. Dlya Rossii! 4.75/5 Buy again: for sure! @feralbrewing Boris Russian Imperial Stout 9.1 per cent Brains: Operating since 2012, Feral Brewing was founded by fermentation scientist Alistair Carragher with hospitality guru Brendan Varis. Brewed: Swan Valley, WA Bought: 330ml bottle from @beercartel Cost: $8.50
So glad I bought two of these when it was released. This particular bottle of Rodenbach Alexander has been cellaring under the house for six months and is tasting truly amazing. Sour cherries for days make it a real party in your mouth kinda thing. A king amongst beers. #rodenbach#alexander#sourcherry
@kaijubeer Cthulhu Black IPA. Medium sweet Ale malt, with strong grapefruit, light dark fruits, passion fruits, caramel, burnt toast, strong black coffee, dark chocolate, cream, strong floral, brown sugar, strong pine, resin, strong herbs, spice, strong dough, yeast, strong lime, strong bitter hops and strong fresh grass. Great beer. Absolutely love it and will definitely be getting more. RATING: 9/10
"PALO SANTO MARRON" a wood-aged Brown Ale brewed and bottled by Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton, Delaware. This American Strong Ale has a great aroma to the nose, lots orlf wood, vanilla, smokiness, and licorice. This brew has such a deep complexity, the malt and roastiness blends so well with the 12%ABV. Almost a peferct beer. A bit boozy, but the aroma nad taste do mask the alcohol. COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Big Brown Ale aged on palo santo wood from Paraguay. This beer is a 12% abv, highly roasty, and malty brown ale aged on the wood of the Palo Santo tree from Paraguay. Palo Santo means "holy tree" and it's wood has been used in South American wine-making communities. We were lucky enough to get our hands on 20 blocks of the super-dense wood and the wood was added to the ageing tank after fermentation.
@beausallnatural Farm Table: Saison is as the name implies. Aroma is floral hops, grass, yeast, fruity malts, spices, banana, and citrus. Taste is dry, with citrus, fruity malts, excellent floral hopping, herbs, spices, yeast, and grass. Nice.
Perfect day for some midday @revolutionalberta patio action. @ninkasibrewing Megalodom is a mega Total Domination IPA. Aroma is citrus, floral hops, bread, pine, and alcohol. Taste is mega, citrus, resinous hops plus toasty malts, caramel, and booze. Medium bitterness. Nice.
@almanacbeer passion project. Dry hopped farmhouse ale aged in oak barrels with cedar spirals, passionfruit and spices. On the nose you get passionfruit with a tint of oak and a little farmhouse funk on the back end. First sip and wow it's banging. I love how the passion fruit combats the spiciness but nether really yields to the other. I did not expect this at all but was not sad.
