It's meal prep day! What are you cooking up this week to stay on track with your health goals? . Putting in a few hours on the weekend to prepare yourself for the week is one of the best things you can do to help you feel good all week and spend less time during the week making food. . In our house we always run out of containers on Sundays so we have to get creative in our packaging. . We've used 2 cup mason jars to put our salads in and greenhouse juice co. ginger shot containers for our dressing. Voila! 4 salads prepped for the week! (And this meal went with a side of rice... we do eat more than a light salad 🐰) . Recipe: Jerusalem Salad from One Part Plant!
Pan-seared catfish filets topped with sautéed cremini mushrooms. Side of collard greens and cajun rice! All homemade, prepped and cooked in 45 minutes. Recipe on my Facebook page, link in bio! #PCOSeats#dinnerideas#southernfood

| be kind | I am often overwhelmed by the support, kindness, and genuine love from this community. Here's just a little reminder to spread that love and kindness in real life too. You never know how much of an impact small acts of kindness can have 💕 Have a great week, babes!
Tip 1 to Falling in Love with Your Body: Self-Love Affirmations every morning. Yes, it's every morning. Go to a mirror look yourself focusing on your eyes and tell yourself 1 or 2 self-love power affirmations that are true for you. For me it could be "Jimena trust in the Universe" and in this moment for me that's the affirmation that I need, for you maybe it's "you are beautiful" "You got this, so show your colors to the world" "be consistent in your bizz" "you are doing an amazing job" "you don't need to run this is your pace and it's perfect", etc. The important thing is that when you say those affirmations all your body feels it. Empower your voice, align your spine, put your feet on the ground and say it. Repeat it everyday, as you eat your daily breakfast, drink and eat your affirmations your body, soul and mind need it ❤

Sundays are made for comfy clothes and resting.. or in my case comfy clothes and working on those #braingains in the library 📚 . I mean, my body is physically resting as my backside is glued to a chair and eyes to a screen but my little pea brain is working triple time to get some words out of me. I can see the light at the end of this third year tunnel and some treats when I get my work done 👌🏼 #sundayfunday
Good people with good hearts will always reign supreme. Hold onto those people. Show them your appreciation. Appreciate yourself. Celebrate your beautiful mind, your dope soul and your energy. You're going to win, we're going to win, in our own way, on our own terms, in our own time. Hold it down gaaaaal dem. Don't let this white patriarchal society we live in, lead you to doubt yourself, what you have to give and who you are. Your existence and your pure joy is resistance 💗✨ 👯
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That's what they say...so I behold myself as Beautiful. Beauty for me is about loving and embracing ALL of me and the last part of my body love journey was embracing my #naturalhair . Like many other #BlackWomen I spent thousands of dollars on chemically relaxing my hair in order to make it straight. I felt that my natural hair was "bad" and I had to relax it...so I could have "good hair". For me getting off the relaxer train was not fun. I found it difficult to look at myself in the mirror and see a beautiful woman. I saw ugly hair...and I did not like the image reflecting back to me. I would put on my best clothes and put on my makeup and I would look in the mirror and feel incomplete. My hair is my crown and it is sacred and I soon discovered that I needed to learn how to embrace my crowing glory. It was a process and as I slowly began to embrace my hair.. I realize I had finally embrace all of me. I was finally seeing my self through God's eyes. I had connected to my soul self. I was the beholder of my own beauty. Today as I #Commit2Sit , I'm sitting in #meditation and #mindfulness celebration of my hair. This to me is #bodylove#bodyconfidence#selfcare#bodylove#bodyselflove#nobodyshame#livingfromwithin#RealHappiness and #realbeauty

Easier said than done I know. But the evidence is right in front of you. Hating yourself has never made you happy. Punishing yourself for your food choices, your failures, failing to see the beauty in your mind and body - has NEVER made you happy. That's a fact. So let's do something about this guys. Let's make an active effort every single day to recognise how fucking rad we are. Celebrate your wins. Compliment yourself (even if you don't quite believe it yet). Speak up. Wear what you want. Express your true self. Take pride in your individuality! And please; share your journey with me! I want to see you soar! 💋Love Lani xxx
#authenticselfie This is how I look when I first wake up! It's hard opening those eyes sometimes, but do you know what, I love how I look. It means I get to see another day and that is so much greater than what my hair looks like or what face I'm pulling. I couldn't care less how I look as long as I get another day with my family. Share your authentic selfies, because you are amazing just as you are 😘 just use the hashtag #authenticselfie and tag @seeme_roar 👌🏼🙌🏻👏🏻
