Video of @atyalexyoung and I the other day starting off arm day. This video was taken before I really had a strong pump going on. Even thorough the pump makes me look bigger sometimes I lose definition. Pros and cons to either side I guess.
Want to grow the width of your inner back? Perform rowing exercises that involve rowing towards your chest . Here I'm doing a wide grip to better ensure I am rowing towards the chest with each rep and not towards my abs/hips (this type of row will involve more lats) . It's important that with each rep you are opening up your shoulder blades/protracting your scapula on the negative/stretch portion of the row and bringing them together/retracting your scapula on the positive/squeeze portion of the movement . You may notice that I am not seated during this particular machine row, instead I am standing and using my bodyweight to press my chest against the pad. The reason I am doing this is to ensure I am not using any momentum or cheat reps during this exercise . Correct form and tempo is a must if your primary goal is muscle growth!
Still my favourite compound! The deadlift 💪🏻 1 set of 7 and 2 sets of 6 with 170kg (374 pounds) I used this clip in my new Youtube. Ideo, which just went live 😁 Be sure to check it out as well 🖥 Giving some tips and pointing out my own flaws in it 👌🏻
Squats‼️ ➖ Squat 🔹5 Reps 115kg (253lbs) 👉 (as shown) ➖ Squats👣 Just over a year ago at the start of my fitness journey I couldn't imagine stepping out with this weight let alone squatting it! Today I can rep it with form! #blessed#onestepatatime
Did some close grip lat pull downs with the @fatgripz wrapped round the bar today . Using the fat gripz as they add a "fat grip" to the otherwise narrow grip on the bar/attachment, improving the grip and promoting a better mind to muscle connection with the lats . If you are using the fat grips for the purpose of improving mind to muscle connection and not to involve more forearm muscles(which is their other purpose), then be sure to perform the exercise with a "hook grip" rather than a conventional (thumb under the bar) grip
