Eggs Florentine! Poached eggs on spinach, ricotta and rye bread 😋 Having a little celebratory breakfast this Saturday. I've stepped on the scales (doesn't happen very often) and I have lost 10kg over the last two years! Slow, steady, healthy habits, have not only made me feel better but it's helped me shift some extra bits! Going sugar-free was the start of it all. Now with regular exercise things seem to be going in the right direction! Grateful for the inspiration @_sarahwilson_ and for the the support of my fellow insty mates!

😂😂Laughter comes from a shift in perspective which relieves tension and discomfort. Two findings from the field of psychoneuroimmunology (study of mind, emotions, brain and health) demonstrate that watching a funny movie is good for your heart and laughter is great for reducing anxiety. While we probably all knew that, it's kind of cool knowing that our innate tendency to gravitate to humour is all about good health :) Basically a healthy brain (human) makes for more laughter and laughter makes for a more healthy brain (human). Get out there and find the funny. We live on Comedy Festival and Thank God You're Here, Ab Fab, Vicar of Dibley & Miranda reruns. I have adored introducing our kids to our favourite funny movies. Last night Hazel and I giggled our way through Home Alone 2. Only a few more years and we will be able to introduce them to fave funny dude, Eddie Murphy. Feeling sad?
