Yesterday was all travel, home just in time for mini's (nowadays) horrendous bedtime which squeezed the last gram of energy out of me... 1 hour 45 mins 👊🏼 toughest "workout" of the week 😴 Getting up this morning was HARD I was planning on abs + Liss to work, but given the energy level... I reduced it to "just" #bbg2 week 14 abs - was definitely feeling the 🔥🔥🔥 Now hubs is leaving for three days in Paris with work 😓... slightly apprehensive about bedtime, but it will be fine! 💪🏼 #flexing to remind myself I'm STRONG! #postworkoutselfie

So BBG workouts have been sparse these last few days as Orlando is going through a leap, which is making him a little fussier and clingier than usual. And in other news, my pelvic floor is nowhere near what it once was, and after seeing our GP yesterday, she mentioned it can take up to 6 months to get it back! SO, what does this mean? Modifications to some BBG exercises to protect my pelvic floor and ab separation 👍🏼 I'm a little disappointed that it's only week 2 and I've missed BBG workouts already, but #mumlife ! And I knew this was going to be the case. The first thing of parenthood is flexibility I think .. Gotta roll with the punches 😊, and doing something is better than nothing .. even if it's not on schedule! Thanks to @yogitulip for the oat inspiration also 👅 I don't usually eat oats, but they're good for supply and I can't say no to PB and dates! (And Nutella, thanks husbo 😂)

I put on my 🎧, some very loud 🎶 and block out the rest of the world for 40 minutes🚴🏼♀️ I used to drag the exercise bike or elliptical trainer in front of the television and put on my favourite show or movie. Whatever makes the workout more enjoyable and the time fly by👍🏻
One sleep to go and the dwarves and I head to Melbourne!! So looking forward to a break. I'm a little anxious to be honest with a lack of exercise structure. I have gotten so used to my schedule so it makes me feel quite uncomfortable not knowing when, where or IF 😳 I'm going to get a daily exercise fix. I've got plans to do a few sessions with @grr_personaltraining with some Metafit thrown in. A couple of Parkruns on the cards too. I've packed my resistance bands and TRX as they're light and don't take up much room. They are popping up everywhere. @f45_training_victoriapoint was an amazing place and work out. Brilliant set up and I was incredibly comfortable the moment I walked in. Starting any new fitness group no matter what your fitness level is intimidating. New faces, new trainers. Stacey and her trainers were so welcoming from the beginning. I didn't feel like a fish out of water all. Everything was explained before we began and there were instructions on their TV screens the whole time so you always knew where you were at and what was next. Honestly I seriously though I was fit!! I was smashed by the of it. I loved the format. I bore very easily. I hate repetitive and high rep sessions. This was everything but!!! Absolutely loved it. A lot of credit has to be given to Stacey and the girls who have created a fun and friendly environment. Can't wait to go back. Rise and shine for week 2 of the BBG #12weekschallenge 😃 I must tell you - I had no motivation today. I was tired and just wanted to put up my legs and do nothing. But the greatest kid on earth said: come on, Mommy, please do your sports! So I had to 😃 Having help from family or friends is the best. By the way, when I first started with Kayla's BBG, one of the worst exercises for me were these Jump Lunges. I couldn't do more than 2 😂 but after the 12 weeks it was an easy thing! Right now I can do 10 without having any problems, then I need a couple of seconds and do the other 10. Although Mondays are really hard (I hate legs&cardio and I want my weekend back anyway), I felt quite good after finishing the workout. I'm back at it people! I started the BBG program in August when I was just 7 weeks postpartum. When I returned to work after 12 weeks I couldn't keep up with the workout program and had to stop. Well.. now I'm back at it! I'm on week 2 and sore as ever! I'll be looking to other BBG women for support and you can count on getting support from me as well!
