Sundays are my active rest day. I go for a walk and then come home and do Pilates. I enjoy my walk because I look for flowers and trees that we can plant in our yard. I always come home feeling inspired and motivated to do work around the house. We definitely want to plant this type of tree in our front yard. Can I just take that whole garden and have it placed in front of my house, pretty please 😃 Pilates is low impact and it feels great! Cali joins me for Pilates because she likes attacking my shoes laces 😸 I'll spend the rest of my day cooking, cleaning and doing laundry so that when Willie gets home we can finally relax and spend some time together! Sooo... #RestDays I clean my house... I burned more calories on my #restday than when I workout. 😂 Okay, so I've been in #SpringCleaning mode so it was almost a 12 hour day of getting rid of crap and packing stuff to donate. Getting rid of old clothes that don't fit. Prepping for my shopping spree when I hit my goal. However, all my #skinnyclothes are getting too bit. I am not resting properly apparently. #ActiveRestDay

This Light active stretching has been one of the most painful 😖 stretches for my groin and hamstring regions. But it hurts so good though. Give it a try on your rest day or after your legs workout, it will maximize the blood flow into your lower extremity.
Active rest day ☀️ my usual active rest day is Friday, but I subbed a cycle class yesterday and switched it to today. I'm tired. Yesterday was jam packed and then was out until 3 am (Beauty and the Best was SO good!). My kiddos had me up early of course. Didn't want to be a bum, so I got right into today's day 27- step into your power of #yogarevolution and took the kiddos outside to play.
