So today I was like 300 calories under my daily allowance, partly because I dropped my bedtime oats and also because I only ate egg whites for breakfast as that's all I had in, so I wanted to add in a few more calories to make sure I'm not restricting my calories past what my body needs to function optimally! So usually my oats consist of water and a scoop of whey protein with 100g of oats, today I dropped it to 50g, I added 1 tsbp of cacao powder, 1 tbsp of maple syrup, then topped with some natural almond butter and a sprinkle of cacao nibs☺️ I don't eat these kinds of foods usually and tonight I just fancied a change but wanted to eat natural foods which are super yummy too! It was honestly so amazing and just what the doctor ordered😂 i like to sometimes mix things up a bit otherwise I end up eating the same things day in day out and I think that would not help me, instead it would make me more likely to binge which is something I don't wanna do at all. I know these oats were quite high in fat because of the almond butter but for me to have something outside of my plan once or twice a week like this is so much better than bingeing multiple times a week on completely processed crap(I used to do this a lot and it's still a challenge in my life). Im working so hard to achieve my goals and had such a good push session at the gym today followed by a steady state cardio session. I'm feeling stronger and leaner each day and I don't ever wanna look back!!!!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 #cleaneating#weightloss#almondbutter#almondbutterislife#gym#workout#workoutmotivation#buildingmuscle#pushday#goals#believeinyourself#loveyourself#instagram#oats
When I went to the doctor last month, one the things she told me was to do a better job at managing my stress levels. So no matter how bad I felt today, I still went the gym. My preworkout really carried me through it today!!!!
