What a great start to #WorkoutWednesday this morning! Finally had to chance to meet @wodprep in Singapore, and I reached out to him to work on my ring muscle up progression with his program, and what do I get? 1-to-1 coaching and.. *drum rolls* 🥁 🚨 PR Alert 🚨 2 STRICT RING MUSCLE UPS after about 4 failed attempts! Definitely looking forward to doing more and working more on those transitions! So happy for my progression and definitely more to come! Thanks once again to Ben for contacting me, visiting me while I'm at work to have his lunch and @crossfittanjongpagar for the awesome gym facilities! ✖dead✖  I'll be honest, right up til I walked in the door today, I was dragging my feet to training. Calves aching from squat jumps the other day; just wasn't feeling it. . But there's nothing a few burpees can't fix. And some *gentle* encouragement from @dyl.goddard 😂 carried around a 30kg sack chanting: it's just a heavy baby it's just a heavy baby (then proceeded to drop it on the floor)!! Sled pulls were fun though. Albeit a killer. . Aiming for 6 sessions of something each week. This one being the killer. Looking forward to the next one... 💥SLED PULLS💥 - excellent tool for a full-body workout!  This is my face after 7 rounds 😂 - Sled pulls can make a great addition to your workout regime. Sled rope pulls work your core, biceps, hamstrings, quads, shoulders and your forearm & grip strength. If you've ever pulled a heavy sled before, you know that every part of your body is used to stabilise yourself. For me personally, going heavy on sled pulls really helps me fully engage my muscles, and pushing the sled back puts greater emphasis on your back and calves. Using heavy weights over shorter burst distances work your power/strength, while lighter weights for longer distances train your cardiovascular endurance. Used correctly, sleds can be a simple, effective addition to your arsenal💪🏻 - 💥Sled Pull-Push Workout💥 1️⃣Pull Sled - 25 metres  2️⃣Push Sled to Starting Point - 25 metres  Repeat for 4 ROUNDS - I usually load 50-70 kg. Definitely feeling stronger now (big thanks to @mattysjc and @aidiamin for their love and care) 😘. Playing around with some squat cleans this morning and surprised myself by building up to a weight that was my 1RM for the longest time. Plus, I used to be so uncomfortable lifting without lifters or knee sleeves. But hey, look at me now. The body is one heck of a machine. Give it a good diet, treat it well and it will do wonders! 💪🏻
